I understand, but I don't have/use any PA plugins nor do I intend to. I prefer Waves stuff.

The Comp did not impress me as much at the first go. I would prefer NI Solid Bus Comp over it. Just a taste thing. But the deal for the SSL 4000 collection is quite irresistible. Maybe one more push by someone will take me over the edge.

For some reason I never looked at those. Thanks for the pointer!telecode wrote: Tue Sep 17, 2019 2:16 pmFWIW.. . Just to add. For any Arturia collection users. There are also a whole bunch of soundset banks on that page that are freebies. So far, there is an Ambient Soundscapes (mostly Matrix 12) and an Ariel Proksa (Buchla) presets that sound amazing.telecode wrote: Tue Sep 17, 2019 12:22 pm Not sure if anyone cares -- but just posting for posterity.
I was casually browsing the Arturia site and noticed the Toto presets are on sale for $2
So if ye is a Toto fan, maybe worth a ticke

If it helps, at some point I had waves, the PA ones, and the SSL ones. They all have different characteristics and they all work fine, but I decided to keep the waves ones. I sold all others. In the PA case I actually bought them again after some time just to make sure (so much praise about them) and sold them once again. Just personal taste. Now I have softube console 1 and love it... and still I often go back to the waves console...LoveEnigma18 wrote: Tue Sep 17, 2019 5:14 pm I understand, but I don't have/use any PA plugins nor do I intend to.
