Thanks man, that is what I understood. I have to register it today (before the 25th) to be eligible for the update. I'll better do something!EnGee wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2019 10:34 amcitidela wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2019 9:55 am Silly question, what happens if I buy a Reason 10 upgrade today but don't register until next week? will I be able to upgrade to 11 as announced?
I've sent a ticket and twitter dm but had no answer yet.
But, if you buy it 2nd hand market, I doubt you would have a free upgrade to 11, unless maybe it is bought and sold recently! You need to ask Reason Studio's support to be sure.

I think as long as you bought it new after 1st Aug then you will get free upgrade to 11 no matter when you register itcitidela wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2019 11:06 amThanks man, that is what I understood. Upgraded to 10 from 2.5 the other day.
One thing, Reason suffers from the same issue that a lot of older software suffers from these days, a GUI made for 640x480 monitors I used back in 2004 when 2.5 was the standard.
I don't see any indication they are fixing this, have they ever mentioned it or are we stuck using the Zoom on our OS to help relive this?

Under "EXPANDABILITY" what ever it means at the bottom of the page
https://www.reasonstudios.com/en/reason ... gLN-fD_BwE
It looks like the Reason Inrto has "VST support"
It can be a VST fx
It can be a VSTi
It can host VST fx and VSTi's
I hope it is all the above.
Please enlighten me.
"MIDI out/MIDI clock out"
So looks like the RACK can have a midi output as a stand alone and as a VSTi.
My interest is mostly on the Players.
Is my interpretation correct?

I know very little about Reason.
But it looks great!!!
If only it had ARA for Melodyne.
Q:
Is Reason or at least the RACK multitouch capable?

I think so. I had a laptop (which I got rid of because I couldn't even run one track with Reason) and I'm pretty sure it did.
Found this:
Might be of help.

The checkbox (MIDI Out) is only for the Intro and full Reason version not for VST according to the list.

I think what they have done in Reason 11 is great. Often I would see posts requesting a certain instrument or effect to be converted to vst. They have made them all available. I think that's a great thing to do.
