In this vid I'll show how you can create a fake sidechain Pumping effect using MTremeloMB. Of course you can do the basics with MTremelo, the multi and features some in handy when you want to do some more interesting effects. I hope you find this useful.

Well done video - been doing this with MTremolo for some years now
It's far more precise and controlable then side-chaining in my eyes.
Even better you can use it vice versa as well to sculpt your bass drum. You might emphasize the "tok" at the begining, i.e. getting rid of low freq for the very start of the bdr sound, hitting hard then slowly adding bass or mids... works good for hardcore/gabba bdrs.

Thanks. Yeah, it's often easier and more controllable. I haven't tried it on bass drums, but I'll give it a try.

Great trick again, Chandler, thanks for sharing! I am just missing your old video structure, where you presented the final dry / wet sound at the beginning already. And I also wonder what kind of people are giving thumbs down on such nice videos.

Chandler is incredible. Always finding interesting, creative things to do with the fabulous Melda plugins. I have several videos to catch up to, including the latest about MDrummer and polyrhythm that I'm looking forward to to.
Cheers.
