1. Are there any plans for a ARA implementation in the near future?
2. Is Mulab and especially Mux multi-touch capable? If made with JUCE it is.
3. "Top-quality support for audio & MIDI VST plug-ins” So Mux has support meaning that it can host VST midi fx and other third party VSTi’s and VSTfx, correct? “Top-quality support” just marketing words or something more?
4. When will Mux 8 be released and what new features will be added?

Open question to everyone: Which one is more important to you: APDC or ARA support?
No specific multi-touch support yet.Is Mulab and especially Mux multi-touch capable? If made with JUCE it is.
Yes MuLab and MUX can host any VST 2 compliant plugin.3. "Top-quality support for audio & MIDI VST plug-ins” So Mux has support meaning that it can host VST midi fx and other third party VSTi’s and VSTfx, correct? “Top-quality support” just marketing words or something more?
MUX 8 will be released this year. A MUX 8 beta version will be available in October. When will Mux 8 be released and what new features will be added?
It will feature all new features of MuLab 8, including the new audio sequences and time-stretching. MUX 8 VST also features some important plugin-specific bug fixes compared to MUX 7 VST.

I own Melodyne Studio, but I think APDC should be first because it's fundamental. However, could users with first preference for ARA please describe their ideal Melodyne <-> MuLab workflow?mutools wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 12:06 pm Open question to everyone: Which one is more important to you: APDC or ARA support?

For me it is ARA but have no idea of the "ideal Melodyne <-> MuLab workflow"
But will like the full ARA implementation.

To be able to easily use the Melodyne features while it is integrated by ARA into Mulab. ARA as with other DAW's helps the workflow. Since I know very little about Mulab this is the best that I can do to answer your question.Michael L wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 2:01 pmTo clarify, What specific differences will ARA make in your workflow?Kalamata Kid wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 1:51 pm For me it is ARA but have no idea of the "ideal Melodyne <-> MuLab workflow"

In my case:
APDC first. I own Melodyne Stuido but use it sparingly. However, I have many plugins that I use that induce small amount of latency. They tend to compound as the signal chain grows.

Why one or the other.
Why not both?
Yes. It is easy for me to say!
I am sure it is a lot of work.

In answer to "which is more important?" Um, because it's not logically possible. For me, I've no opinion as I don't need either.

APDC seems to cover more needs, ARA is aimed to people working with Melodyne, so less people I guess. (I own Meldyne, but using it not so often)
By the way, good news about MUX!! Ready to test it...
