I want to use the Rack as a VSTi in Studio One likely, but maybe in Cubase or Reaper.
My interest is in the Players. Will likely buy if or when there is a midi out from the Rack.
And if so at $75 (68 euros) ok but to purchase several Players it can get expensive.
I will pass for the time being.
I decided to take the plunge if I can get it for $75 or less.
I will take my chances that one day the midi out from the Rack will be added.
So where is the lowest price for the Intro?

From the manual :

"Demo Mode is only available in the stand-alone version of Reason not in Reason Rack Plugin."
FFS, it's hard to deal with you.

I'm interested in the 30 day demo of version 11. If there is any reason I cannot please let me know, otherwise you are TOTALLY off base (which I'm used to)
Jesus Christ man - Tourette’s much? I was trying to help. Looks like Anosou got things sorted. Try to relax.
You haven't helped, nobody has and it's frustrating. There is no more support so I can't ask them.

It's really quite simple. I just want to do the 30 day trial of reason 11. There is nothing that I can see on the website that activates this. What would be nice is if someone who knows the secret hand shake help with this.
I can't believe how rude you're behaving with @EnochLight !
EnochLight is being a gentleman and helping you despite your animosity!

Are you this rude in real life too??? I'm appalled by your stinky arrogance!

We're seeing 2 extremes here - reggie being extremely arrogant & EnochLight being extremely nice!

Mods, why this prick is not banned??? Such kind of crass behaviour shouldn't be tolerated in KVR!

Hey reggie1979, go back to your 4chan forums, no place here for a foul mouthed guy like you!
Why don't you get over yourself? Who's being rude or foul mouthed? I'll put you on my foe list for being such a jerk but he's been REALLY rude to me in the past (and another forum) and HE WAS NOT HELPFUL. I never wanted to use the reason rack, I could care less if there isn't a demo mode for racks. It's not what I asked and AS STATED, I wanted help with the 30 day demo. Turns out it was a confirmed bug on RS's behalf. Shesh, if anyone should be banned it should be you for your amazingly ignorant hyperbole. Grow up.

No, only if you want to authorize your computer for offline use. Codemeter is not needed for online verification.
If I buy Reason 11 Suite and then decide to sell my license, will the buyer get the included Rack Extensions?
Rack Extension licenses are non-transferrable - they remain tied to your account. You can only sell/transfer your actual Reason license.
Thanks for your reply Dylan. But I was asking Mattias on purpose because historically what you said is true. However, since Reason Suite includes REs, I want to know if I sell my Reason Suite license, will the buyer get the included REs?

Really hoping a Reason Studios staff member can answer my question?
Can you imagine Reason Studios making a special case for selling REs just because they were part of a bundle?
If they did that then the rest of the world who have unwanted REs will jump up and down having a hissy fit as it isn't fair. And it wouldn't be fair.

Grum.
Well, it's a totally fair question. You seem to be buying a premium Reason with Reason Suite.
Other REs are included in Reason; Radical Piano for example

But knowing this company's methods in extracting coin from existing purchases with upgrades (parsec, the a-list drummer conversion...), I'd bet that there is no way that Reason Studios would want to give up any potential revenue by letting 16 Propellerhead REs be transferred over to a new owner. Then again, what are the odds that someone would sell off an expensive Reason Suite license?

FFS, “Reason Studios” is a dumb company name. Way to make searching the web for content on Reason even more fruitless...

I refuse to call them anything but “Propellerhead”.

Maybe I am missing your intended meaning of 'content on Reason' but when I type in 'Reason Studios' in google, it was not until page 9 where relevancy of the links really started to fall apart. That's not bad for a brand-switch that occurred so recently.

So no AU yet, huh?

So far the Reason 11 upgrade is of no use to me because the only DAW I have that hosts VSTs is um Reason.

I am travelling on restricted data and can’t easily read this entire thread, Can someone on Windows 7 or 10 who uses Cubase , any version , comment on the racks stability as a VST3 plugin?

Hi,
I am interested in Suite.
Do you know if factory content and extensions/Libraries can be installed on another disk than C:?
Thanks.

What worries me about the Suite release is not only that I already have all but 4 (Scenic is one of them) of the included REs, so the value of the $249 is not really good to me, espescially not since the reason I don't already own the other three is simply because they don't really appeal to me. So what's the plan for the Suite in the future? Will the add another RE I own (PX7) in the Suite 12? Will Reason Studios release other REs (that I will possibly buy) that they later will include in Suite 12?

Other questions Reason Studios won't answer:

- What will the cost for the upgrade from Suite 11 to Suite 12 be?
- Will there be Suite only REs released in an upcoming point update? Or the next major version.
- Will there be other features only available in the Suite? Or sample libraries? Or will the Suite ONLY have advantage of some extra REs?
- If I upgrade to Suite 11, and later want to sell my license, will the extra included REs follow the license transfer (this questions has been asked here already, but makes perfect sense). And no, a random KVR member's answer does not count for an official answer.

I would have liked for Reason Studios to at least give some kind of hint on my questions, but they couldn't comment anything. Support wise, Reason Studios is as bad as NI, Arturia and Steinberg. Business model wise, they are even worse.

I'm sorry to say this, I have always been defending "the props", mostly because I never really cared for the low resolution, and Reason have always been giving me joy, because it's damn fun to play around in. But those times I have been in contact with their support they have 9 times out of 10 been completely unreasonable.

If you search the thread this has already been answered. You can create symbolic links to accomplish this, this is the only way.
