Hi all,
how can I map different articulations for a drumsound, eg Tom Rimshot, Center and so on inside mdrummer?
I´d like to use different trigger notes, but I don´t where to map different drum articulations?
Or is this the wrong way?
Is there an overview of the full keymap for mdrummer?
There are just 26 trigger notes in drum pad mode. How can I add more?
Thanks and greets
Marek

I´ve found the answer inside the drumset editor.
I´m still trying to trigger mdrummer with ezdrummer midi files. It works, but they´re much more drum articulations used and mapped by default inside ezdrummer then inside the quick setup drumsets of mdrummer. Much work to use the midi files of ezdrummer.
Some tipps to get it done fast?

You mean drumsets, right? (active presets are now "devices", and these are not in MDrummer)
I'd map them to the same drum, or use some utility "drums", such as effect 1-4... You'll have to edit them yourself of course. In MDrummer different articulations are usually mapped using velocity.

Drumsets, correct.
For using the midi by Toontrack that’s not the way to go. They’re using different notes for different articulations. I’m no drummer for myself, but I own some of Toontracks midi packs and like these so far. But using these with Mdrummer is difficult and time consuming.

That's what the input MIDI filters are for! If you thought MDrummer could somehow miraculously adapt to a completely different MIDI map, then I'm afraid it's like listening to chinese while speaking english

Not sure which ones, but in Addictive drums it's not the case.
You do have mapping presets from different electronic drums to chose from tho, I think Mdrummer could maybe benefit that if possible.

Agreed. I think Melda would benefit from "usability" in terms of presets, mappings, etc. It presents a very DIY system and in many cases that is just too much.PleaseAdvise wrote: Sun Aug 22, 2021 11:05 pmNot sure which ones, but in Addictive drums it's not the case.
