how do I load the .Tun file?

on the mac you put your .tun file into this folder:

~/Library/Audio/Presets/Unfiltered Audio Tunings/

wishlist:
would be great if a selected tuning could be locked (otional)

so that changing presets does not automatically reset tuning

It's C: ProgramData\UnfilteredAudio\Tunings\ if you're on PC ...

on my Mac, It doesn't have the Unfiltered Audio Tunings folder inside the presets folder. Is it advisable to make one? did I miss to click a user preset option during installation?

Hmmm, it should have created one automatically when opening LION.

One thing to note is that Unfiltered Audio Tunings is a separate folder from Unfiltered Audio LION so that if/when we create another instrument, they can share the same folders.

I see it now. made a mistake on navigating through the folders. its a shame I studied unix a few years ago. haha.

Fair enough, this can induce aliasing, but it's kind of a nuclear test. I personally don't have issues with aliasing in normal use and find distortion from the waveshaper the bigger issue by a mile. In fact, I think it's the waveshaper that causes aliasing in this test anyway. Dropping the volume and compensating in the DAW really cleans things up, and oversampling in the plug improves this further. It seems the output waveshaper isn't included in the oversampling. The oscillators themselves seem to oversample fine and are very clean, even at 1x and 2x.

I do hope that built-in distortion becomes optional in a later update. It's certainly got a vibe to it, but it's a bit limiting when it comes to achieving clean tones and/or and 'snappy' dynamics - especially as you can add that vibe with the Byome row if desired.

First of all I suggest we all practice the common sense and common courtesy of moderating ourselves. When that fails for some reason, the next reasonable course of action would be to remind our equals of the rules of common conduct that serve all our interests, such as keeping the information to noise ratio as high as possible.

It's nice that people come together in this way to help each other, and taking it to more appropriate subsections of the forum doesn't diminish it in any way. Vouchers are information for a very brief moment, then become noise forever.

When you're looking for voucher codes then posts containing valid ones are most appreciated, but if you're browsing the thread for discussion about the topic of the thread, then the numerous posts containing invalid voucher codes are just litter for which there would have been more appropriate places.
