One other observation:
If Melda plugs are subhosted by i.e. MUX, all problems are completely gone in S1...no mouse cursor flickering, no play cusor stuttering...
Annoying GUI problems in Studio One...

Hmmm, weird. Anyway I'll first try to solve somehow the problems with redrawing. I also noticed some flickering of the cursor in Studio one, but it was like once per 5 seconds, so I almost didn't notice. One question (just to be sure) - Studio One isn't the only host, where the mouse flickering happens on your computer, correct?

Well to resurrect an old thread did presonus gave any answers? Cause mouse on studio one with Melda plugins is flickering, values are jumping when I move a knob or fader, even eq nodes.

I just got done demoing Studio One 4.5.3 I think the version was.
It definitely has some interesting behavior: removing a sidechain destination plugin crashed it, disabled Console Shaper and it still had crosstalk - had to restart it, and in contrast to reaper, it doesn't relinquish F1 control so you have to use CMD+H to access Melda help popups.
So, not surprised, basically. It is a rather pretty daw, though, with an overall vibe half between Pro Tools and Live. Sticking with reaper, for now.
