Don't spend money if you don't think it's worth itMozex wrote: Thu Oct 17, 2019 9:03 am Ok El Bo. I will put money on paypal to subscribe to ask audio but it seems the tutorials on ableton live are not that many and the last one is from 19 january. It also seems there are a lot of courses on different plugins which you have to buy and which are very expensive. So I dont know. Will get a month sub to check out the ableton live things they offer
It doesn't really matter if there are no recent tutorials. What they do have are tutorials that can take anyone from beginner to expert, if they put in the practice. They also have tutorials to teach how to use compressors, eq's, how to master etc. that will teach principals that apply to most plugins out there, so you don't need to own the plugins they use. Often they will demonstrate principles with a range of plugins; not because you need those specific plugins, but because they can show you different functions or styles that you can then find equivalents for.
And if you don't think Askaudio has what you like, then check out Groove3. You could try a month of each, one after the other, and see which you like best. Both sites often do discounts/promotions on subscriptions. My current sub costs about €70 per year
