1. There's no irony, since I do not feel insulted after all.
2. I really believe in Meldaproduction and experienced their tools as very innovative compared to many other (maybe even similar) tools. That's why I just want to defend the company, since I do not see an insult in their move.

And I'm not wrong thinking it's the developer's problem.

If Meldaproductions needs longer to publish an update, due to this issue, it literally is even MY problem as a windows user as well, since I have to wait longer.

And honestly, sending an email to someone saying, "...please stop reading now..." is just begging to be read.

English is not my main language, but to me "please stop reading now" is a simple advice in easy understandable english, if read without emotions.

This monitor is targeting the professional video editing world, a market where monitors regularly cost 20 to 40k without a stand (these shops have mounts so generally no stand is needed in the first place). It’s easy to make fun of and harder to understand, like many things on the internet I suppose.

I suppose if you judge the value of everything by the purchase price then you would probably come to that conclusion.

Sometimes yes and sometimes no, for me things have to make sense and be reasonable in first place, I don't care about how overhyped a product is or the popular "trendings", is about what it offers and why the price.

No so long time ago apple released Apple Stand for $1,000... just for a stand for monitor... Is not a joke, this is real and it has been the same for many apple products; and very often big corporation does stuffs like this because as long as many of the blind user base (not all of them) are always willing to put cash $€£ in the last apple trendings, all goes well, you know think different...

It is informed, maybe you have a point in the fact that the monitor has some technical aspects that makes it pricey, but it continues being a problem with apple as always in this:
