MXXX is the reason why I don't have a want for Ozone/Neutron. Much heavier price tag on MXXX though, so I don't blame those who don't want to purchase it (I purchased it during the 10 years anniversary sale). For my part at least, it's my go-to tool/tool-set for mixing and mastering.

And unlike what the current promotional page for MXXX shows, it's has nearly all the current Melda products as modules in it. Quite a treat!

I own MXXX ...how are you getting anything close to Ozone...

There's imho nothing too special in Ozone, it's a nice simple tool. Perhaps jmg8 could make an Ozone device?

I'll just sort of clone Ozone.
Of course I won't be able to clone the interplugin communication. But I think the rest of it can all be done in MXXX.

I have been thinking about this. Is the OP asking for the features of Ozone that we don't yet have in Melda? For example, master assistant, master rebalance and inter-plugin communication etc?
Most of this and more will come in time, with the mix revolution.
Or, if you are looking for something similar to Ozone that will have all the mastering tools together in one place to speed up workflow when mastering, then I can certainly do this.

But the more I think about it some things do not make sense to me. You see the easy screen can not display the full graphs like the edit screen. So if you want to see that, then you would need to open the edit screen anyway. Also, why copy Ozone? You see there are many things Melda can do that Ozone can not, so it would be a shame to not include those features.

So my proposal is to make a mastering device that takes some inspiration from Ozone, but by no means is a copy. It will have some amazing tools that Ozone can not provide, but also will have some missing that Ozone does have. And of course, it will involve some going into the edit screen sometimes for visual stuff. But on the whole, you should be able to stay on the easy screen and trust your ears.

So, would this be useful to you?

who needs a iZotope killer ? they killed themselves with so poor performance.

btw neutron and ozone are just a set of very common plugins..

and then even if their plugins were good, i hate the commercial policy (overpricing plugins new version, then start 80% sales, then update to new version..)

I don't want to spend lots of time and effort on something that will not turn out to be useful to you and others.

And yes, a mix and master version should be fine.

First off sorry about the quick response I was in a meeting,secondly are you a developer with melda because if so that's fantastic and if you're just a third party enthusiast that's badass as well, lastly I want another plug-in that can handle any mastering situation or mixing situation if you believe that that's mixer revolution then we will just wait for that but I don't want any other plug-in company to be used on my systems ATM, Meldas workflow is just too perfect for me.
