If someone attempts to insult his paying customers, by name calling ("hipsters" etc.), but the whole context in which he talks is uncontrolled anger, it does not mean that the people he targets - users of Apple products, in this case - actually feel insulted. Quite the opposite, actually.

TBH, if someone suggested i should buy a Mac instead, i probably would laugh it off. Why would i feel insulted about the brand that i'm using? I'm not a sheep of commerce. Obviously, that doesn't hold true for the Mac users who feel so insulted by this Melda article.

I always thought that one of the benefits of becoming self-employed is the freedom to dictate the terms of engagement, to not have to spend time doing things one would rather not have to do. Is there a single reply from windows users beeing pis*ed off because of his statement? No! Of course not! Everybody understands that Richard didn't said all window users using illegal software. I know that Meldaproduction can write some "risky" words sometimes. Sure we could discuss how this is great for the publicity of a company, no question. To me it is rather likeable, since (again) it just shows that this company has a clear opinion and does not hide it. To me at least it feels honest, in a way.
