Some of these updates don't really mean anything without a bit of clarification, not a complaint, just perspective. I am considering picking this thing up, seems to cover everything i'm after strip wise.

Is the eq exactly the same as the original strip?
Yes, the EQ section is the same as in CS3301.
No specific HW modelling.
In CS5501 you can enable now " eq component tolerances", what is usually known from HW. So if you set f0 to 1000Hz it could be e.g. finally 986Hz or 1008 Hz.
Has the eq sensitivity been changes, then? I've not demo'd it for a while
No changes since CS3301 :-)
Sorry! I meant sensitivity of the controls. When I last demoed it, you had it calibrated so each frequency band was full-range, which made adjusting in small increments extremely twitchy unless using a modifier. It was the main reason I never bothered with it, again. Has that been changed, or at least become a switchable option/choice?

Thanks! However, I’ll take the blame again for not being clear. The word I should’ve used was ‘scaling’. Specifically, whether trying to deal with bass frequencies, for example, means having to make adjustments within a tiny percentage range of the full dial.

Cheers :tu:

Why initialising the patch to default state also resets the GUI size to 100%? This doesn't make any sense. For vast majority of plugins those are separate settings.

Let us see what we can do here :)

Thanks! I think most VSTs store user preferences (like GUI size) in some kind of config file or Windows' registry (I've no idea if OSX has something similar), so if I change default size of the plugin in Studio One, when I open it in Bitwig it will be that size.
