Auto stretching audio loops on import

When I import audio loops some seem to adapt to the Tempo and some do not, even after I enable follow Tempo. Is there something else that I should be enabling so all audio loops adapt to the tempo on import?

Yes of course. After enabling follow Tempo I also clicked on "detect tempo" and then I was a able stretch the loop cause before it would not let me stretch it to fit tempo. I'm not in front of my computer but detect tempo can be found under one of the other tabs.

I take this back. This matter is not resolved. After further experimation and way too much wasted time more than I can spare, it turns out the loop is only partially in sync. If you set it to loop by clicking the "L" it's in sync for about two bars and it starts to go out of sync after that. None of the different stretch modes seem to be making a difference and can't find any videos explaining how to fix this. And apparently barely any help from this Forum either.

So here are the steps to achieve correct loop stretching.
1 Import loop.
2. Click loop to access loop editing window.
3. Click on beat Points tab at bottom.
4. Click on "add beat points on each beat" and then on "auto detect beat points" .
5. Adjust beat sensitivity to get as many beat points as possible.
6.click on auto detect tempo. If it gives you a loop Root Tempo that looks like 127.768 make sure that you round it to the mext whole number in this case it would be 128.00
7. Click on Auto Tempo
8. Now this is important: make sure that the clips end is fully snapped to the bars END, zoom in real tight and check that it is.
9. Click on "L" Icon to enable clip looping
10. Stretch the loop by either dragging the hollow triangle at the top right of the clip, or going to the actions panel and clicking on "Loop this clip"
Note that the Tempo detection is obviously only needed to be performed if you don't know the loops Tempo. If you do know it, just add it to the "Root Tempo" box
In all honesty this was exhausting, one should not have to go through this much trouble to sync a loop to Tempo.

Each clip has controls in its title bar. The right-most triangle resizes the clip. If you hold down the Alt key while dragging with this triangle it will resize the clip and adjust the pitch to match. You just need to align the start and end of the clip to the bar markers using this method. You can switch on time stretching in the clip if you want the pitch to stay the same.

If you switch on time stretching to keep the pitch the same, it is what you call tempo sync.
