Are you Mac? I think mine expired over a year ago on a PC with no issues.

That said, I think the annual WUP sale is in March or April? If you can upgrade to a bundle on sale, it is usually a better deal.

Indeed it is odd pricing; that's how Soundspot does it with all their releases. At the discounted price I guess it's reasonable for someone just starting wanting a cheap VSTi as it's not quite the worst synth out there, lol, but it's pretty weak tbh, and there's no way in hell I'd pay over $150 for this thing.

I get the impression that Soundspot quickly slapped together some code over the weekend and released this basic, subpar synth. I'm not at all impressed and I doubt many here will be. With that said, thanks for the heads up.

It is their business model. The "regular price" just exists to incentivize you to buy it during the intro period. I don't think they assume that anybody buys any of their plugins outside a sale.

How did you use the discount code on the waves site. I tried to WUP, and couldn't find a place to put in the code. Otherwise, it is not really worth it for me.

"Do you have a coupon code" or something like that ?!?
On the right hand side of the page if I remember correctly.

That option does not seem to be there, at least now, for the WUP purchase.
Glad that 95% of my plugins are covered by the update plan, so I am about to update to V11 at no cost.

+1. This is exactly what I did to go from Gold V9 bundle to Gold+Ren Max V10 bundle for just about $27 during last BF. As a result, I could just update the bundle further now to V11 free of cost. Having Ren Max bundle with V11 also gives me access to the beautiful new GUIs.

My suggestion would be to resist and wait for Black Friday. I am sure you will find the best deal on what you are eyeing at.

A few years back had seen Horizon IIRC at briefly at $185.
I have bought Gold for $145 but will buy Horizon at $185 or less on the next sale.
Then sell the Gold.

LOL! I have upgraded to get new WUP to the point I have Mercury+whatever it is that is separate. I wouldn't mind updating my WUP as all my key libraries are still at 9 and they don't always load with the other plugins that are on 10. I'm finally at the point where everything is out of WUP and I can update for a year at $240. I may check everyplugin to see what kind of deal they have. They are taking the 31Off code as well.
