Noticed the post in the other thread about AAS Strum and it seems while the deal's on if you have Strum Session you can upgrade directly at AAS to the full Strum GS2 and get the Funky Cat expansion included for $49. Not sure if resellers are offering that upgrade at the moment, but maybe it takes a day or two to filter through.

Thanks. Did not know that. So now Gold must be on V11 before I can sell it?
Looks like I will keep Gold and forget about buying Horizon.
The Waves online upgrade from Waves to Horizon in my account is always very high, too high to upgrade. Now a crazy $448.
I will buy only Waves plugins that I really need that are priced at no brainer prices.

I went from Gold to Gold + can't remember what, for about $30... and then some time later from there to Horizon for about $70/$80... I have now a Horizon + this-and-that for about $50 so when I want to update to v11 that's what I'll do. Upgrading a bundle is a better deal than paying the wup.

So then wait of either a good Gold + RenMaxx to Horizon upgrade sale or get Horizon on a great sale then sell the Gold + RenMaxx V11. What could I possible sell Gold + RenMaxx for? Would anyone buy it? But the best is if I can get what you got, the Gold + RenMaxx to Horizon upgrade for around $80. Wow that is great!

You are correct that you would get Gold V11 since the WUP would be good for a year on Gold plus RenMaxx. As for upgrades, you might be able to get an upgrade to Diamond for a good price during a bundle sale, then upgrade to Horizon.

Another thing that I didn't see mention is that upgrades can be purchased through Waves resellers and they usually have better prices than Waves. The only thing is that it's a manual process to quote. You have to give them your account name/id and what you want to upgrade from what bundle (plus any additional plugins -- usually part of the bundle you want to upgrade to) to which bundle.

As for selling Gold+ RennMaxx, I don't think you would be able to get much on KVR, but your millage may vary. Waves Gold is usually the standard that's required for audio engineers to own when they work at shared commercial studios. The lowest I've seen Gold sell new from a reseller is $61 at EveryPlugin.com -- $69.30 at Waves at the time (but the person buying it might not know this). I've seen Gold sold here for ~$50 USD in the past. Adding RennMaxx might be worth a little more since some of the R plugins have been a stable for many producers, but it would really depend on who's looking at buying as for the sale price.
