With 31OFF I can get Gold to Gold + RenMaxx upgrade for $29.12. I assume the Gold then becomes V11.

So then wait of either a good Gold + RenMaxx to Horizon upgrade sale or get Horizon on a great sale then sell the Gold + RenMaxx V11. What could I possible sell Gold + RenMaxx for? Would anyone buy it? But the best is if I can get what you got, the Gold + RenMaxx to Horizon upgrade for around $80. Wow that is great!

Thanks for the suggestion.
You are correct that you would get Gold V11 since the WUP would be good for a year on Gold plus RenMaxx. As for upgrades, you might be able to get an upgrade to Diamond for a good price during a bundle sale, then upgrade to Horizon.

Another thing that I didn't see mention is that upgrades can be purchased through Waves resellers and they usually have better prices than Waves. The only thing is that it's a manual process to quote. You have to give them your account name/id and what you want to upgrade from what bundle (plus any additional plugins -- usually part of the bundle you want to upgrade to) to which bundle.

As for selling Gold+ RennMaxx, I don't think you would be able to get much on KVR, but your millage may vary. Waves Gold is usually the standard that's required for audio engineers to own when they work at shared commercial studios. The lowest I've seen Gold sell new from a reseller is $61 at EveryPlugin.com -- $69.30 at Waves at the time (but the person buying it might not know this). I've seen Gold sold here for ~$50 USD in the past. Adding RennMaxx might be worth a little more since some of the R plugins have been a stable for many producers, but it would really depend on who's looking at buying as for the sale price.
It seem to me that www.everyplugin.com has the lowest Wavers prices.
Thanks for your suggestion I emailed them asking for the best Gold to Horizon upgrade path.
Yea, will give up on the idea of selling Gold or Gold+RennMaxx.
Okay, everyplugin gave me a better deal than I've gotten from Waves, so I will probably take it to get everything on the same version. The half 9 half 10 doesn't work in most of my DAWs and it takes about 15 minutes to load or longer if I don't click the pop-up. (checked don't ask me again, but it still asks me every time)

PSP Pianoverb 2 launched.
Unfortunately no special loyal customer offers. (E.g. I own most of the PSP stuff, and get it the whole 3 % sheaper than the new buyers, from PSP store, and pay on this way 10 % more, than the JRR buyers).
Not complaining, just wondering...

Post

I own Pianoverb 1 and would get 0.07% off of 2 :lol:

Pianoverb 1 was and still is free.

Pianoverb 2 was launched five years ago.

However, I think they've tweaked the discounting on the shop so that the loyalty discount is based off the full price - so when they've got a big sale on, it doesn't work out to make a big difference if you've got a lot of PSP stuff.

In that case, somewhat missleading info:

”We are thrilled to announce the release of the new redesigned and improved creative resonant reverb plugin plug-in PSP PianoVerb2, based on our famous and beloved freeware plug-in PSP PianoVerb! ”.

This is the email I received:

Dear user,

The update of PSP PianoVerb2 version 2.5.0. has been released. The new version offers redesigned GUI with a brand new resize feature and new presets management. In this update we changed the authorization system to the PACE system (a hardware ilok dongle is NOT required). Please watch our video tutorial about the installation and activation process. The update is free for all registered users and you still get access to the old version of the plug-in with the old authorisation system thru your account at our user area.

To get PSP PV2 v. 2.5.0 please:
1) Log-in to your PSP account and expand PSP PV2 details,
2) Download the installer appropriate for your operating system. You can overwrite the newer version over the old one so after downloading simply start the installer.
3) To run a plug-in an up to date iLok License Manager application is required.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed improper behavior of Damp knobs (setup A and B)
- Minor bug fixed

Changes:
- New AAX engine for macOS and Windows
- Available AAX configurations:
* Mono (on Mono tracks)
* Mono-Stereo (on Mono tracks)
* Mulit-Mono (on Stereo tracks and surround tracks)
* Multi-Channel (on Stereo tracks)
- Improved AAX stability
- New VST3 format
- Rerendering of plugin panel
- Added edit boxes for each control
- Added hints for each control
- Added PSPaudioware.com website hyperlink to AboutBox
- Added new iLok licensing system (allowing our users to store 3 licenses on hard-drive/iLok dongle)
- Added double precision processing
- Added new configuration to pagetable information (only Pro Tools AAX format)
- Added new PSP PRESET BAR with resizing functionality

Hoping they fixed the crashing problem. I really love throwing it on my pianos, but it would freeze my session. The free one worked without a problem though.

PianoVerb 2's installer went from 5.8MB to 98MB. Thank you, Pace!
