A channel strip could be very nice, I use simplon all over my mixes for quick high and low passing. If they go channel strip, i guess they might go for coloured eq instead of neutral, next question is, will they go for modelling something existing or go for something made up?
But I think it would be well timed to come out with something like Soothe/Gullfoss.

I think they would just add more metering analysis in pro-l rather than creating a standalone metering plugin.robotmonkey wrote: Fri Nov 01, 2019 2:40 pm I've heard it will be FabFilter Meter to compete with Waves WU Meter and PSP Triple Meter. I'm pretty hyped.

Knowing FabFilter they would probably have selectable options for EQ colour such as Transparent, Retro, Vintage, etcmrj1nx wrote: Fri Nov 01, 2019 2:41 pm A channel strip could be very nice, I use simplon all over my mixes for quick high and low passing. Pro-S (various saturations and distortions, like Saturn but much more improved and hopefully no more terrible red color)
Pro-D (delay to compliment Pro-R)
Pro-M (metering like flux analyser, etc)
Pro-F (like Volcano, but much more improved especially soundwise)

Metering would be not worth it imo because they already build good loudness metering into Pro-L2. Don't know if a channelstrip would fit FabFilter or what goodies it should have. I'd instant buy some modular fx or meta plugin from them with the excellent band splitters and filters, the easy modulation system and a bunch of combinators.
Whatever it will be, it very likely be good and well thought anyways.

Can't wait to test the low pass gate.

It's been 11 year since fabfilter twin 2
I's sad really , it all started with the gorgeous fabfilter one ( still use to this day )
I don't think they do synths anymore

how could they do synths when fabfilter is a collectors line of products, so you're going to have two installer folders then, one labeled midi one labeled fx and since there's only going to be slick easy to use lightweight products in both folders, ones going to be more empty, causing all sorts of cognitive dissonance in your backup thumb drive with all your plugin folders. does that look right to anyone else?

I hope it's a creative sequencer/semi-modular type deal. I know there are plenty of those out there already, but I'd love to see what Fabilter could come up with!

Fabfilters synth are so far sub par.
They should stay with their FX expertise.

Personally, I love Fabfilter One, but I agree that Fabfilter's forte is FX.Calenberger wrote: Sat Nov 02, 2019 7:43 am Fabfilters synth are so far sub par.
