Is there a way to split midi notes in the editor?

I tried hard to find a way to split midi notes in Mulab midi editor window, but I still don't know if it is possible. It's not terribly important to be able to do it, but sometimes it's handy.

You mean you have a note that last 2 beats and you want two notes that each last one beat?

Yes, that would normally be called splitting But not only on beats, on any subdivision.

Splitting events is already supported for sample events in an audio sequence, but not yet for MIDI notes though, that's on the wishlist.

I'd like to vote for this feature too. With an function shortcut.

In Reason, it's called the slicer tool. In Reaper, it's called "split notes" and defaults to the "S" key.
