I've always wondered why a facepalm emoticon would be referred to as a dog.
However, today I noticed two things:
- if you hover over the icon it says "d'oh"
- G is right next to H on the keyboard.
I'm guessing it was a typo that was never fixed.
Is the :dog: emoticon meant to be :doh:?

I get the d'oh, I just don't get the dog. Unless dog was always intended to be doh, but there was a typo when creating the emoticons.
