My wish list for the synths to be released soon:
Modular as in Bidule or Patcher or Mux.
Much midi fx, chorders and arps
To be able to host VSTfx and VSTi
MPE
Multi-touch friendly EDIT: Let the GUI be the control surface.
Iris like
Drag and drop wav files
Mutator like Randomizer
Ok, yea this is silly but in my dream last night I promised to post my wish list.

"well known sound designer" sounds like a threat.Calenberger wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 8:16 pmHope, that it's NOT Richard Devine.
His stuff is too strange, glitchy and noisy at least for me...

It had, Clevinger was excited about the new GUI, IIRC NI had been involved in its design.starflakeprj wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 6:14 pm I don't know if Absynth had another GUI pre-NI, but in case it was about the same I hope for a more inviting one in the upcoming synth(s).
The first screenshot he shared back then got me worried, it looked less functional to me, but I don't remember how the real thing worked out in comparison.

I won't divulge their name, but it's NOT the person you mentioned above...mladi wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 8:32 pm"well known sound designer" sounds like a threat.Calenberger wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 8:16 pmHope, that it's NOT Richard Devine.

Please, for the love of all gods - the ability to read loop points in a sample and an end to the arbitrary end of just about 20 seconds for loops (999,999 loop points)
Most of the time I had to constrain my samples to well below that point.

AFAIK absynth 1 gui just had a different colour scheme ( some minor cosmetic diiferences ) + was standalone onlycptgone wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 9:40 pmIt had, Clevinger was excited about the new GUI, IIRC NI had been involved in its design.starflakeprj wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 6:14 pm I don't know if Absynth had another GUI pre-NI, but in case it was about the same I hope for a more inviting one in the upcoming synth(s).

the GUI was sort of silvery ...
i seem to recall having to open multiple windows to access

Very quiet the last few days. Is this the quiet before the synth announcement?
My feeling is we will hear something within seven days.
PS. I hope it is a sample based synth.

Cool! The sound reminds me of NI Prism. I think I heard somewhere he was into modal synthesis so makes sense.
Hoping for something that can really replace Sculpture on Windows.
