the same as this https://www.flux.audio/project/ircam-trax-v3/

and are there any demo videos anywhere of all of these products?
half price at the moment (JRRShop is cheapest) but without being able to see videos of the processing tools is a bit difficult to justify. Have tried a demo of Trax and it is very very good at what it does - very specialised but very good.
Just as info, in Trax there is broken feature (does nothing), this is the "Error" slider in the Remix section. A bunch years ago i reported to support about this problem, and they confirm this, but all still the same (and next mails were simply ignored).
Beside that, during use, couple times observed various freezes, especially by use subplugins of this bundle (Cs and Sf).
In principle, an interesting thing, and ok hell with them freezes - let's allow this down due the complexity of the algorithms, but presence of feature that does nothing, and ignoring this, for the money (and given the scientific advancement of the firm) i think this is unacceptable and not serious, tbh after this experience my interest to purchasing of any other IRCAM (Flux) products is faded.
Though i like their reverb (pretty stable and buggy-free it seems) and granular stuff.
thanks for that info which is important to me for sure. I have done more testing against Melodyne (for my purposes) and for some cases Melodyne is better, for others Trax.

I was just thinking "haven't they done a Chroma?"

The update for the one that's in Vintage Legends (in VV1 and VV2) looks as though includes this v1.5 update - just in case anyone who already has VV2 gets overexcited and tries to buy this separately.
Update includes a new instrument called Polar based on the sounds from Polaris not included in earlier versions of Kroma. Must have the most current version of UVI Workstation and/or Falcon. Nice free update for those who own Vintage Legends/Vintage Vault 1 or Vintage Vault 2.

Any idea if UVI will have a Black Friday sale? If so, would you be including the products that are on sale?
Yes, UVI will be having a Black Friday sale at audiodeluxe.com and we will have an exclusive deal for our customers
Hi AudioDeluxe team, any update as to when is UVI BF starting at your website? Also, will Kroma 1.5 continue to be available at the intro price (or better) during Black Friday sale (assuming it is included as part of the sale)? Thinking of 2-3 UVI soundbanks possibly including Kroma 1.5, but thinking if I should wait for BF sale to start. Your reply will be much appreciated.

I see a UVI Kroma is on sale.

I am hoping there will be a full blown dealage tomorrow. So far neither of my goto companies, NI or Arturia have come through this year.

Yes, I did see it. I was/am wondering the BF sale might start once the intro price on Kroma 1.5 ends and then Kroma 1.5 won't be available at the intro/discounted price. I am deciding whether I want it or not, and if yes, whether I should buy now or wait for BF sale.

I am gonna update to V Collection 7, probably tonight. The 3 new instruments + 800 new presets for $99 is not a bad deal at all. As for NI, I don't think I have anything to buy this time after the summer sale purchase of K12U Update.

Have you decided not to get anything from NI and Arturia this BF?

Yeah, I am not finding anything appealing from Arturia or NI this year. I am already on Arturia Col v6 and really have no desire for those new vsynths. Was waiting for a deal on the effects bundle as I missed the summer deal and now I am realy into effects .(I might have posted this already?)

From NI, I was looking forward to getting a VST like Straylight, but to be honest, I am a little pissed at the stunt they pulled where they jacked up the prices across the broad before the BF sale*. So fauk them and their re-org. If I really want or need Straylight, I will wait a few years until it gets bundled into Komplete and then maybe jump on a Komplete deal. I am voting with my wallet and will maybe give my money to a smaller company this year.

(* FYI.. I am/was a huge NI fan boi and loyal customer, but now I am starting to really get annoyed. Their end user customer support went to the shits with their new chat system and now they have been fauking around with their tried, true and established product portfolio mix with the sounds.com bullshit, and now the weirdo price hikes on products that aren't even 6 months old. Time will tell what comes out of that company but it seems to be changing from an outside observers POV. )

Well, poor woman! :D
To be more accurate, I understand that only a few instruments went up in price.

I don't know. I only noticed the price hike on the two products I was paying closer attention to. I can't speak for Noire or some of the others in their product portfolio. The maschine expansions seem to have not changed. But can't tell for sure as I don't pay much attention to them as I already have most in my collection.

I find it a little weird to see a 30% price increase so soon after a release and especially so soon before a big sale. (It's like they are taking a cue from the way some sneaky electronics stores and furniture stores operate. Maybe their new C level execs came from that retail sector, who knows?).But I am pretty sure I never saw anywhere on the NI site when they released those products (Moduar icons, Straylight ..) that the products are being offered as a special introductory price. Arturia corp usually do a really good job with that kind of price promo and they stick to their word. Once the intro price is up, those products get adjusted to a much higher price. I see nowhere signs that inflation or that cost of doing business online has been affected that much in 6 months that there is a need to increase prices on products by that much.

Anyways, who cares. The reality is NI can price and do whatever they want with their product portfolio. *They* are the ones competing with other companies selling similar products in the market space -- not me.

I assume that these days are the most important business period of the year for him. So patience should be due for us.

Consider yourself in the know now as hardly anything went up in price. You just picked the 2 short straws from a pack of maybe 50.

According to NI:

"Hey guys, Straylight was indeed available with an introduction price for 6 months and it is true the offer ended just before the sale. This was not related to our Thanksgiving offer."

Not sure which other one went up in price or whether that was on an intro offer!
