It's a Keith McMillen controller. It does channel rotation. Not full MPE but has both poly pressure and also an up/down dimension per note, which can be assigned to pitch bend or other mod targets.
when you say "pitch bend" what do you mean exactly?

Oh no you didn't...

on topic: sounds very interesting. Look forward to finding out more.

good news, absynth still is a gem in my eyes, even more when you think on how long it's been around

;)

also thinking i could eventually need a new controler :scared: and that one looks nice

It seems that besides the Plucked/Hammered String with Polyphonic Pitch Bend
there will be at least one more instrument to be "announced"

This is still on the site:
Innovative virtual instruments designed by Brian Clevinger.
Announcements coming soon.

Why no mention of the Plucked/Hammered String with Polyphonic Pitch Bend on their site https://rhizomatic.xyz/

I think that puts an end, if some still had, to the hopes for a Absynth 6. No way they gonna keep that synth alive without its maker & creator.

Good thing he took another route to offer us something else. And new.

Post

^^^
I would blindly take Absynth 6 over blindly anything else new by Brian.
But
It is not meant to be.

Just because Brian is not there doesn't mean nobody else could do any updates to the codebase... Especially if NI owns the rights to the code (which I believe is the case).

Post

Yep of course they probably. But still, don't think they gonna do it :P

I think we all know that's not going to happen, except for perhaps a new compatibility thing if preset formats change or something.

Post

I wouldn't bet on that myself... Not because of any insights, but... let's just see what happens.
