Reason full is on sale, the upgrades aren't as far as I can tell. Been lazy about upgrading, I just don't need it been too busy with other stuff. Waiting for it to go on sale.
I have all the rack extensions I need and feeling lazy about looking through the list -- any 'must haves'? I consider Reason 'must haves' as extensions that are somewhat unique or specific to Reason.

Have you tried Vital?

very nice "have a cup of tea or two" approach to rate synths.
Comprehensive and transparent, bookmarked.

Don't forget, if it goes on sale at Plugin Boutique, you get iZotope Nectar Elements free with any purchase there.Sciurus wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2019 9:00 pm Wavesfactory joins the party with 50% off everything. I'm off to buy Trackspacer!

Pulsar have done great things with the MU, not quite the intro price of $55 but if you havent tried it, it can do wonderful things and has all the modern extras in a plugin.Uncle E wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2019 6:58 pm Up to 60% off Pulsar Digital Echorec Binson delay and Mu Fairchild Compressor/Limiter:

Pulsar Digital Echorec Echo/Delay Binson Plugin $44
Pulsar Digital Mu Tube Mastering Compressor/Limiter Fairchild Plugin $65
Uncle E, MU is an emulation of the Manley Variable MU compressor, not Fairchild

I'd give it a try, but even the demo requires an iLok dongle, doesn't seem to work with the license manager.
I'm holding out for Magic Death Eye. It's beaten every other compressor I've tried for mastering purposes. I'm hoping DDMF include it in their Black Friday Sale, but I'll pick it up even if they don't.

Thanks for the forum link, v1o.v1o wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2019 3:19 pmNot many users on KVR unfortunately. But sounds like a very innovative product.dna_studios wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2019 2:47 pm Anyone heard of a company called Hit'n'Mix, or used their 'Infinity' audio editor? Basically it's an app that analyses and splits up a stereo audio mix, allowing the individual elements of the mix to be manipulated (something like Melodyne DNA).
https://hitnmix.com/infinity/
https://hitnmix.com/videos/ (a Sound On Sound AES 2019 video, plus a few feature demos)
They're currently having a BF sale, but I'm not sure what to make of them. For a company that's been around 10 years, and an app that's at v4, they don't have much of an internet footprint.

No it uses Cloud ilok system so you dont need a dongle. Still a pain though, I get it. MDE is definitely on the wishlist, fingers crossed as Christian from DDMF hasnt done black friday sales in the past but appears to have suggested on facebook that this year he will..foosnark wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2019 10:45 pmI'd give it a try, but even the demo requires an iLok dongle, doesn't seem to work with the license manager.

Hmm... I have the cloud iLok stuff (reluctantly, but I finally gave in) and yet it told me it required the dongle.Insanelysane wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2019 11:29 pm No it uses Cloud ilok system so you dont need a dongle.
Might be because I unchecked the iLok driver option when installing the demo, thinking that was already present since I've got other things using it.

Tried demo once, tbh not impressed by result, and additionally big cpu usage in some modes (during use IR's afair).psynical wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2019 5:56 pm

Its def cloud based, I also think you may have to load ilok manager and 'create'a cloud session in order to get MU registered to your cloud ilok account (rather than activate from within the plugin).foosnark wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2019 11:33 pmHmm... From memory Pulsar also fixed/simplified the registration process in an update so may be more straight forward for you now. Give it a go.
