It's not a private coupon, it's a BF deal being promoted
https://www.reddit.com/r/AudioProductio ... _until_30/
BTW, while on the topic of deals, VPRE 73 is also on sale (around half off)
https://blackroosteraudio.com/en/products/vpre-73
And I believe AirWindows has a promo going this year that BussColors4 is also free with any download https://www.airwindows.com/busscolors-4/

Is there any additional info on "MixBussEQ"? Which company is that?plexuss wrote: Mon Nov 25, 2019 5:26 am When TrackSpark was around, I picked up MixBussEQ and Parallel Drums. I just put them on a track I'm working on and am reminded how nice they are. ...

Marconi1 by SKNote
https://www.kvraudio.com/product/marconi1-by-sknote
(SKNote plugins can be quirky at times, but they are typically high quality in terms of sound quality. Check the Gearslutz thread to see what pro-audio engineers have to say about the Marconi)

Thanks for the info. I don't buy random products though, just because they have photo-realistic GUIs. Also, I already have my Neve preamp needs covered with the SKNote Marconi1plexuss wrote: Mon Nov 25, 2019 9:27 pmhttps://www.finalmix.biz/ "enter the code FMS73M to enjoy a 25% discount on all Final Mix plugins. Teri from the Final Mix Software team did respond to my inquiry. She even offered to create a special discount code for KVR (something like "KVRROCKS") if we want it. Here is the text of the original email I got yesterday:
If you don't have a 1073 and want to try that style of EQ, $18 for the EQ-73M seems like a no-brainer.
DISCLAIMER: If you're a crazy EQ snob with piles of hardware and/or loads of expensive emulation plugins, you may find things to gripe about. (Your type always does. It is part of your 'charm'.) I did not, and was not looking for any. I just enjoyed twisting a few knobs on this thing and quickly getting either:
1) Just what I needed OR
2) Some good ideas to try with other EQs in the toolbox
When I want to nit-pick, tweak, fuss, A/B, debate, and fine-tune, I've already got an arm-load of toolbox options. Last night, I put the EQ-73M after my Softube PE1C. The pair worked well together and created what I wanted.
Also: So far there has not been a single crash or any sign of instability. The Ableton Live 10 project includes plugins from: DDMF, Softube, u-he, Eventide, FabFilter, Sonic Academy, Cytomic, PSP, LennarDigital, Maag (Plugin Alliance), Klanghelm, Kazrog, and Goodhertz. So apparently it plays well with others - at least in Live 10. More testing later in Logic Pro X...
It's good that the company is communicating and offering great deals on top of their already impressive prices. I really like the EQ-73M. It's about as simple as an EQ can get; and 1073 designs seem to get results faster than anything. I've tried doing the same kind of things with low-Q broad curves in other types of EQs (emulations & non-emulations). The Neve style always seems to be faster, yet somehow agreeable. It's not a precision tool; but it's always rewarding.Introducing the new EQ-73M. It's everything you would expect and more.
Classic look. Intuitive controls. Killer sound. Just $18 with the FMS discount code.
Please visit us at www.finalmix.biz and enter the code FMS73M to enjoy a 25% discount on all Final Mix plugins. This offer ends on 11/30/2019.
Enjoy!

Sounds like an advertisment. How much provision do you get?Infinite5ths wrote: Tue Nov 26, 2019 4:50 am Teri from the Final Mix Software team did respond to my inquiry. what is it with this software, long before I became a mod I was posting about Rob's plugins...I got trolled and accused of being a shill as well because then they had a deal like other companies have (FL comes to mind) where you got a discount or something if someone used your code. Here's the thing, if I want any of Rob's plugins or mics (Gauge Microphones) all I gotta do is ask (I did have a code)...Rob Chiarelli's Grandmother was my grandfather's sister, he grew up less than ten miles from me. Family lore has it that my grandfather and his father went into a bank at lunch from where they worked (I think it was Raytheon in Waltham Mass). Rob's dad walked in with no cash and walked out with a deed and cash in his pocket...my grandad had a lot of connections back in the day (50's, maybe 40's)Izak Synthiemental wrote: Tue Nov 26, 2019 1:49 pmSounds like an advertisment. TBH I haven't checked out his plugins in ages, I suspect I'll be talking to him before the week is out so I'll check to see my code is still good.
Meanwhile, let's steer away from this line of attack, I dont know if Rob is offering such a deal again but if there is, so? Also no need to be offensive, said post is edited because I did get a report.
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

To anybody using the Final Mix EQ-73 Modern:
On the EQ-73 Modern, can you push the input - to saturate a little?
Is this like the "red knob" on a real 1073? (it goes -10 to 10 rather than "line" and "mic" -20 to 0 and -80 to 0)

Yeah it’s double “S”. Though the Americans may spell it with one. I prefer too, personally, less chance of ambiguity.plexuss wrote: Mon Nov 25, 2019 5:44 amCorrect. Buss.
