I'm sure the upgrade has been completely finished and ready to go for at least a week now! No way there's a last minute panic to seal it and stuff it in the box!

My buddy and I once had the responsibility to paint these massively large backdrops for a school play (1 in bkgd, and 2 on either side of stage), we goofed and mismanaged our time and were literally still painting the side drops as the earliest audience members were entering the auditorium. So the panels were still wet with paint as the show began.

Similar stories for last minute ad delivery in advertising. Maybe ReFX is reading from this old playbook!

Or maybe this is part of their guerilla marketing buzz generating plan! Just fashionably late.

Honestly one of the most lackluster launches I’ve seen, no videos or demos before launch, not much info just a couple GUI pics and general details.
