It seems that both the trajector and dx are both phase modulation effects, ( phase root still remains a mystery to me , maybe regular FM ? )
Trajector at a full value of 100 has the same outcome as dx effect set to value 10.0
Is the dx effect the trajector with an extended parameter range ?

You have descriptions of all osc FX in the manual...
DX is indeed like Trajector but 10x stronger. Phase Root is the original wave multiplying the phase of a sine wave.

Yes, it’s pretty much just the factor. This way one can make some of those DX sounds much more easily.
