Hi. I bought extensions a few months ago. I haven't activated them yet. But if I stay with Avenger 1.4 I will never be able to use them. Is it normal? Is that ok? Vengeance Sound behaves very badly. I feel cheated.

You are being really thick! Just to make it easy enough for you to understand I also took some screen shots in the correct order. My Screen shots show the procedure to buy expansion pack. There is as you say mentioned that I need to upgrade to 1.5 and as I said before, I didn't think anything of it because it was so easy before. Please tell me where I was supposed to see anything about Codemeter starting from choosing my expansion pack until payment? There is nowhere that is mentioned. It is ONLY mentioned once I enter my user area to download the new installers. By that time I ALREADY made the expansion pack purchase. My critisism was simply that such a major change should have been clearly communicated to users by e-mail, try to make sure everyone knew about it. It's easy! You did not expected it to be different this time, thats why it was clearly written for people like you, and i just posted you the printscreens. I just gave you the proof that Vengeance did handled the communication right and you still say its not your fault

ok i bought the new guitar expansion et knew that i had to update to 1.5 but it wasn't t written that you have to redownload everything ( 14 expansions for me + core library ) !!! i would have wait a sunday morning to do that... not the night before a session....Elektronisch wrote: Sat Nov 30, 2019 10:11 amYou did not expected it to be different this time, thats why it was clearly written for people like you, and i just posted you the printscreens. I didn't expect anything to be different this time and that's the whole point.BUt in new expansion describtion it clearly says, it requires minimum 1.5 version. So its your own fault. Your own ignorance does not cancel you from responsable behaviour.
And if you paid any attention to that, means you tried to download version 1.5 and there it also clearly says IMPORTANT.
So where is Vengeance fault there about not communicating i dont know. Its clear that its your own fault for not paying attention to what is written and now try to blame that vengeance didnt cleaned your bottom.
I never heard about Codemeter before and I purchased the expansion before I upgraded. That you can say is my fault then but based on previous experience upgrading Avenger I didn't think anything of it.
All comes down to in what chronological order things are done. Perhaps you didn't think about that before you started to use big words. Try to get your head out of you butt and think before you comment![]()

Any solution for ''unsupported file format'' when importing factory library for 1.5 ?
I have downloaded the latest library which reads
VPS_Avenger_XP_Factory.avxp2 and it is 6.25gb
and activated Avenger but not working.
Thanks

I don't know if it will help you but I downloaded the factory library. I opened Avenger 1.5 in my DAW and dragged the folder into the Avenger GUI, in the area where presets normally show up. After that I got a question in what folder I would like to install the factory library. This worked for me anywayozinga wrote: Sat Nov 30, 2019 10:35 am Any solution for ''unsupported file format'' when importing factory library for 1.5 ?

This worked for me with regards to installation of codemeter, activation and install of avenger 1.53
I am on a Windows 10 PC with Cubase 10.5 Pro
This has to be done first before anything !!!!
1. Go to your avenger account and sign in on line
2. In your account you will see a link to go to the codemeter site
3. Download the correct version of codemeter PC or MAC
4. Install on your computer .Follow this link and Follow complete instructions and activate licence and expansions
5. Delete all instances of the avenger program manually and also all expansions from your computer
6. You have to go into your avenger account and download Avenger 1.5, also the factory library and also any and all your expansions you purchased if any. Expansions have been updated to only work with avenger 1.53 It may take awhile to download the factory library
7. Now you are going to do a complete install of avenger and expansions/ factory library included
8. Install avenger 1.53
9. Open avenger in your daw
10. On screen prompt for factory library that you downloaded/install
11. At this point drag and drop any expansions that you purchased right into the avenger GUI where the libraries are displayed

OK guys i redownloaded all my 14 expansions and the factory library and erased the old ones...
i dragged the new expansions on avenger and it was ok but i can complain that:
1) i did a lot of avenger updates and it was really easy with no problem so i thought it will be easy again...
2) i knew that i have to update cause i bought guitar expansion on black friday but it wasn't written that i would have to redownload all expansions and factory library !
3) i didn t receive any mail talking about this and you ?
4) And last, even with the redownload, some sounds are really really low in volume, i don t know why ? do you guys have this issue too ?
5) as a example i receive a email from orchestral tools announcing a new player etc... it s not yet available but there is a video online, etc... how can a company can't even send a email telling their customers that they will have to redownload everything !!!!

Yes you are correct. Problem is I had to go there to discover it. In the end of the day I would probably have gone thru this process of upgrading to 1.5 no matter if I bought an expansion pack in the BF sale or not. I just wish I had known and upgraded before I bought the expansion pack because I was eager to try out the new expansion pack. I got stressed out during the upgrade process and thought I would never get it to work without having to contact the support. I made many mistakes but finally it worked. Before today I never ever heard about Codemeter. Vengeance is a very nice synth and it sounds amazing.Elektronisch wrote: Sat Nov 30, 2019 10:44 amWhen you go to vengeance account of yours, it says IMPORTANTATN69 wrote: Sat Nov 30, 2019 10:27 amYou are being really thick! That doesnt makes you a better User at least. So when people mention their "status" of success i always find that a bit funny. Shall i tell you that i am a Viva Comet winner and have an Echo Nomination? Was working for Warner, Sony, EMI, Universal and Armada Music.PPS wrote: Sat Nov 30, 2019 8:58 am hi i don' call me premium i called me a platinum producer and songwriter cause it s what i am. i have 1 platinum 6 golds and 2 silver certified records in europe...
Does this make my words now more right or more wrong?
Just to clear why i wrote, what i wrote.

Oh thanks, that'll save a headache.djmce wrote: Sat Nov 30, 2019 10:18 am @noiseboyuk: right-click the Cubase header just above Avenger (the one with the A/B functions) and disable "always on top". then it will stay on top, when you switch to the explorer. Sounds strange I know...
That Master Filter bug is very irritating, hope that gets fixed sooner rather than later, seems to affect about half of all patches. EDM 3 is a pretty good expansion though.
