FWIW, I downloaded the factory content very quickly this morning in the UK. That's probably annoying.

I'd like to hear from Manuel exactly how it works, but when you install Codemeter there is no app at all to run. Looks like it's purely a background service. Therefore I can only presume that it does its checks in the background, and as long as you're on the internet at some point in a 3 month period, all is well. I'm not sure what happens if you go over three months (ie your DAW machine isn't ever on the internet), I guess you go through an offline process of some kind.

What part of the world are you located? I'm in the US near Detroit, MI. Download speeds for the smaller Expansions (500 MB or smaller) are acceptable, taking a few minutes. The 5.8 GB Factory content is the one that's simply ridiculous.

I am confused. People report downloading speeds but I just get 404s right away. Is it normal if I consistently get 404s from the download page?

Just try again later, it probably depends on your location.

Nice! I got the 5 pack as well. I got the first guitar Xp too. I dig it so far. Wish there were some non-loop guitars in it though. I like the quality though.

I also got atmospherica, which is cool. Looking at EDM 3, 8 bit, and a trance one.

I think one of the coolest features of avenger is the drums kits. I really like the quality. So now I’m wondering which XP’s have the coolest drum kits.

so how is this going to work for those that don't want to upgrade... will we still be able to get our old license file to keep the old version running? i have a copy now but what happens if i have a back up go down or a system failure in the future? are we just out of the money invested in the product?

I got Techno 1, Synthwave, Guitar 1 and Guitar 2. Haven't decided on the 5th yet... Between Analog, Future Bounce, and Guitar 3

If this is Windows it sounds like Avenger is depending on a service that is set to Automatic (Delayed Start). If this is the case and you can find the service, you might be able to avoid the wait by setting the service's startup type to Automatic. Sometimes our OS defaults just don't match our priorities.

One thing I'm not thrilled about with Codemeter is that it seems to run an open port for the web service to connect to. I have no idea how secure that is or if it could be exploited to gain access to my system. Can Manuel comment on the security side of Codemeter?

Some people who writes zillions of comments regarding CP on this forum every month probably got the time fo verify their license once every 3rd month lol

Anyway - there are dedicated threads for CP issues. Take it there.
That said, since there are some people whko got a habit to bring it up in threads where it doesn't belong. This 3 year old trhead is about a , then, ucomming release and NOT about their , or anyone else's , CP policies.

Sigh.....any quick advice (nothing on the new registering site, nothing inside the donwloads, manual about 1.2 is not really helpful in this case) about installing expansions in 1.5 ? Drag and drop dont work in my daws on win 10, VMAN does not exist anymore, I cant find any place to just open the file, navigating there and double clicking dont work, why cant they just give a short hint in the downloads, do you really need to follow a 720 post thread to be able to load an expansion...sigh...

That dont work in my daws, its blocked, no + when I try, neither Mulab nor Mixcraft (and had not worked in 1.4 but there where easy ways to to for example with the VMAN)
