Thanks for the info. I assume if Faderfox would create a 4-Joystick unit, it would be about the same price (200 EUR).
Which would be same price range as the (already available) Sensel Morph.
Not sure which one offers a nicer "control feeling" - stick or pad.

Thanks. So there are a lot of (mostly historic) Freeware Apps to use Game Controllers for MIDI.
Seems a bit too experimental/do-it-yourself for my taste.
I am also not sure whether the typical Game Controller design feels suitable when you're making music. But this would certainly be the cheapest option. (Apart from just using an existing controller with rotary knobs - separate for X and Y - or using some iPad App if you already own an iPad or another tablet.)
