Got ABS-3 and I feel that ABS-4 only has one new thing - Mr Agent 5 ? And some other not so wow-synths.

it seems that there is a sale on groove agent 5 upgrade from agent 4 now .... for 69 Euros instead of 99 Euros ...

I've got Absolute 3 and just love almost all of it.
I didn't really see much in 4 to make it worth the jump though.
Maybe next time.

I was going to start a thread about the wavetables that Steinberg is using. I think they're fantastic.
It'd be nice if I could import them into Largo somehow.
I kind of think trying to sample them would lose something in the process though.

Largo has those nice comb filters that can really twist stuff around.
I think some really unique sounds could come from the combination.
Halion has Waldorf comb filters, but they pale in comparison for sound,
and TBH, they sound kind of crappy to me.

Really pretty happy with the rest of Absolute though.

quick question... does Absolute 4 have separate licences for each component or is it a single licence that can't be split?

Single license. Cannot be split.

I pre-owned some of the products included but because of elicenser I just kept those. I purchased a new dongle to put them on should I choose to sell them at some point.

Thanks for that. I also pre-own some of the content, but the deal on offer made buying the bundle worthwhile.
