Annoying low-end "pop" when Satin starts

Hi, I have long been a fan of Satin. As I'm bouncing a finished project, though, I am encountering a strange problem with it I have never encountered before. When I press play on the track (or when I bounce), right as the track starts, Satin emits a little low-end "pop" at around 50ish hz. I can see it occur on the little graphic EQ display in the "Service" window. This is resulting in an annoying "pop" at the beginning of each of my tracks. Some troubleshooting I have already done:
-It is definitely Satin that is causing this pop; not only can I see it occurring on the EQ, but I have removed all other plugins from sessions, and the problem still persists. Conversely, if I bypass Satin, the problem goes away.
-The pop occurs regardless of what setting I use on Satin. I have tried several presets/various presets of my own, and I have tried to turn off each variable within Satin one at a time; the pop remains regardless of any of this. I have also removed Satin from the project and then re-instantiated it; the problem persists.
-The pop occurs even with all tracks muted. It also occurs even if it's running on an empty track with no audio at all.
-I have tried re-installing Satin.
-I have restarted my computer multiple times, does not help.
-Yes, this is a bought & registered copy of the plugin
-I'm using it in Logic 10.4.4 on macOS 10.13.6
Any idea what is going on here?

How loud is the bump? Does it appear on the individual track meters or the main meters?

I'm using Satin on mix bus, so tough to answer your question; it does appear on both the mix bus (where Satin is) and on the main out.planetearth wrote: Mon Dec 09, 2019 3:15 am How loud is the bump? Does it appear on the individual track meters or the main meters?

It's definitely soft, just a few db, but because of its low-end-iness, it is audible, a soft "pahhh", at normal listening levels

This bump seems to occur where the repro head "bump" would also be. Is it possible there's a very low-level signal going through your mix bus and that starting playback is causing Satin to amplify it?
Have you tried this on a new project, with Satin on a track (not a bus)? Even if you've turned down the repro head bump, something in Satin may still be amplifying a signal that's already present in your bus. Trying it in a new project on an audio track where there is no actual audio recorded will help determine if it's something inherent in Satin or just something Satin is doing to a signal.
Specifically, which version of Satin are you using? I don't have the latest version (haven't used it enough to upgrade), but I couldn't reproduce the problem. Then again, I'm using Sonar on the PC, so I'm basically comparing Apples to Windows. (See what I did there?

Don't think it's the head bump; there are a couple vintage-emulation plugins before Satin in the chain that do output a low level of noise, but eliminating these doesn't eliminate the pop; in fact, eliminating all audio and plugins doesn't eliminate the pop. Plus, turning down the bump in the Service window doesn't do anything either.planetearth wrote: Mon Dec 09, 2019 4:05 am This bump seems to occur where the repro head "bump" would also be. I have noticed that it's the same sound as if I turn the plugin on while the track is running. Furthermore, if I instantiate a new instance of Satin, sometimes the pop won't appear at first, will be quiet for a couple playbacks, but then will start happening, almost like the plugin "warmed up" and then decides to make that noise. It's weeeeird.
Anyway, I've got too much to do (to answer pdxindie, it's happening in all sessions on this one project, haven't checked out old sessions) to mess more, I'm hacking a solution by automating a fade-in on the mix bus. Not ideal given the noise floor but will work.
