Sadly the update broke arpegiator, after pressing the key with arpegiator on it plays always, playback never stops![]()
64 bit
Just play any arp from bank 4
Can you tell me which host, and in Viper 32 or 64 bit? Also what do you do exactly to reproduce it?

hmm strange, it doesnt happen anymore. It happened to me when i browsed factory 4 and then suddenly all the arps behave liked that. Maybe some preset caused that. Ill let you know if ill encounter this bug again.
Also i wonder, whats the internal sample rate that Viper is running?

Its should adjust to your sample rate, but 44100 should be the best resultsElektronisch wrote: Mon Dec 16, 2019 6:47 pm Also i wonder, whats the internal sample rate that Viper is running?

I am always on 88.2, will this cause any sound quality issues or not?adamtrance wrote: Mon Dec 16, 2019 7:12 pmIts should adjust to your sample rate, but 44100 should be the best resultsElektronisch wrote: Mon Dec 16, 2019 6:47 pm Also i wonder, whats the internal sample rate that Viper is running?

Thanks for the update. Too bad the micro stutters on midi input are worse than before.
On the default patch "SQ Arena AS" reducing the amp envelope release stage, I get these huge buffer spikes. Huge spikes (with audio glitches) also on moving a knob with the mouse if the GUI size is more than 100%.
64bit Viper in Bitwig, Win 10.
Edit: Playing the "SQ Arpica EP" preset from bank 4, I thought the "transient" clicking was part of the preset, until I looked at the buffer and realized the clicking is due to buffer underruns on every note hit.
A limiter on the master out would also be nice. Playing some soft sine pads will result in nasty clipping distortion if you're not careful with the internal gain staging.

Yes unfortunately this spike bug is still present in the FlowStone, only the developers can solve this, I cannot do anything about it. The only way to fix this is to disable the arp and use the piano roll instead

Disabling the arp does not help with the above mentioned Arpica preset (I edited my original post above). I still get buffer underruns on every note i play on my midi keyboard.adamtrance wrote: Mon Dec 16, 2019 7:46 pm The only way to fix this is to disable the arp and use the piano roll instead

I still haven't got an email with update, but I re-download new Viper from purchase link. I tested some new wavetable oscillator and new shimer function in reverb. Sounds great.

He released an update. If there is a problem with the update, you can always go back.
If there is a Flowstone problem, as he mentioned, he is awaiting the devs to fix that.
So yea, I can see taking a 2 week break. Ha. I wish I could, eish!

it's now working fluent with 1.5, espercialy preset change, but I can't load Serum Wavetables. I can select them, only as classic oscilator, where they don't work. I don't see them as under wavetables, only factory and sinus bank, but no usere bank.
