This is totally lame from Sono because at 17:00 PM most people working/ at the way home. This is stupid marketing, I stop the support for this company. There is no way i pay 70 or more + VAT just because i'm home at 19:00 PM..

This free offer is running out in one minute.. ,,complete bullshit. I already wrote them since i missed the first and also this stupid "for free" that i'm not willing to put anymore of my hard worked money towards them, so hopefully In the future i'm at home at 16:00 PM then i can grab the freebie.

These are Kontakt Player libraries and they gave away a substantial number. But they had everything running so smoothly this year that the licenses were claimed extremely quickly. I came in 11 minutes after it started and at that point the number of available licenses was already rapidly approaching zero.

I'm old...I worked til 1am , went to bed at 2 , got up to pee at 7:50 and remembered the giveaway. I logged in and got the giveaway. I missed Modal Runs which would have been more useful to me, but thats just the way things go. To me ,its silly and petty to complain about this kind of thing ; the spirit and generosity of the company should be the main focus. I'll definitely buy Modal now and I'd already bought Minimal Orchestra last week. Its a good time for music makers now

Sonokinetic got me 31 times, heh. But, 5 were free. I would have easily paid for those 5 because they are just that good.

You could describe them as inspiring. I don't think that way, but they are so great for giving a little extra movement, or life to sections of my arrangements. I use them in sparse ways and it always pays off.

On the topic of Sonokinetic: I was in contact with them a few weeks ago after I had made a mistake when ordering from them. They were excellent to deal with. Got back to me promptly and solved my problem without any hassle. Definitely a company worth supporting. Oh and their products are brilliant too obviously!

I had a good support interaction with them recently. Fine folks over there.

Two brand-new product launches and both with a limited free amount due to NKS licensing fees. That is extremely generous. And that the process was frustration-free is a welcome improvement.

Heck I could kick my own ... for having missed the free Ostinato Noir yesterday. That one is right down my alley and now it feels kinda weird to cough up some hard earned cash for something that I could have gotten for free 24 hours ago ... oh well.

The free licenses are limited and have been ridiculously short lived, you guys shouldnt beat yourselves up over it as there may have been a few hundred and within an hour or two they were gone. In previous years that window was larger and perhaps there were more free licenses. There are likely more bargain hunters on the trail this year and so someone is bound to miss out if there are limited quantities!

I actually watched it after getting my own free one. 20 minutes to sell out. Definitely the fastest I've seen. And they did give out hints to be prepared. But really, the first freebie is normally on the second day of the sale. I think the last couple of years they only did one but they gave out 3500 copies last year and 2000 the year before. It's a pricey gift considering it has a Kontakt serial number.

I do need to stop buying though. I have too much of everything. Getting to be a pain to keep track of it all.

Edit: There were 1000 each of the freebies. You have to refresh your browser after the clock changes or it will not show up. 8 am PST is the start of the sale each day. They have a running countdown timer if you need to figure it out for your time zone. Based on past years, this was the last free library. Also based on past years, at least one of the free ones will likely be 50% off next year.

It's true. Last year I thought I had a need for reverbs. I picked up 4 reverbs via the IK Group Buy, and then the holidays brought Acon Digital Reverberate Basic 2 and now Raum. Six free reverbs in 4 months. I no longer have a hole in my reverb plugs.

(I also bought Blackhole back in April but used a gift card so technically that was free too.)

Make that 7 free reverbs...
