It IS quality mp3´s on the Zildjian side.

The sound is KRIMINAL good

If they sound good then use them, if it taste good then eat it... ehhh, if she looks good then...

Mp3 is a lossy format, and especially with cymbals, so i'll stick with what i have, they sound excellent.

Yes, but they REALLY sound good...try them out.

I do hate the mp3 thought too, but these cymbals works.
I think it´s like the hifi freaks. They WANT to hear the difference because the paid a lot for their new super cables.(And off course there IS a difference some times)
And don´t get me wrong kriminal, i´m a hifi and sound freak my self but i have changed with the age with what i believe and what i hear.

I remember a story from a danish hifi magazine once the minidisc came out. There was a blind test with CD and minidisc. The most of the listeners (hardcore hifi people) could hear a difference on the two sources but it was fity-fifty which source people choosed to be minidisc or CD.

and some clicked on all the samples
so someone there who collected them all and zipped them already ?

if so please make a direct link of it and i will convert them all to wave.

I have downloaded AND convertet all the samples to wav (dont have the mp3´s anymore sorry)

The cymbal wavs i got is 312mb

Another thing is, it´s maybe not a great idea to upload Zildjian´s work on another site.

Do you know of a good wav file compressor?
