At least you can mention then in the first post not only the winner but which Synth it was: I know it isn't that important obviously..

Watch better. And I suggest you to also play it slower. Then you'll see. It is used all along the track.

You're right. I was waiting for Xils to put a screen of the instrument, but there is a delay.
It's the Roland RS-505 Paraphonic String Machine and Symphonic Orchestra

It's labelled at the very beginning of the video. (above white piano). And then appears several times in the video (once you know where it is physically if not by the sound itself)

You too, BlackWinny! Cool beans!
I hope your wish for XILS Quadra becomes true and Xavier makes it the next one.
That Korg Trident is awesome as well, but nothing beats Quadra at strings. As much as it was a failed attempt at polyphonic synth, it was strings and strings all the livelong day. You could just stand there forever floating in awesomeness. Well, they basically took Solina and Omni and made it even better. Where do you go from here?

I know I am late, but I have a suggestion: how about making your own unique design? Oxium is an excellent instrument. I bet you could come up with another thing that is different but retains some elements like your excellent-sounding filter models.

When I created Oxium, Ramses, or StiX for example, Xils were interested by original designs. But it seems that, nowadays, they are more into returning to the roots of their work, i.e emulating vintage instruments. Maybe because it's without surprises, or less risky. I'm not 100% sure it's the explanation, but well, that's how I feel things are going.Gribs wrote: Fri Dec 20, 2019 2:57 pm I know I am late, but I have a suggestion: how about making your own unique design? Are we playing "who's next?" game already? Because I'm ready
UI was expected to be similar to XILS V+, no-brainer, really.
resizable interface, yes?
curious about CPU load.
I'm usually Solina / Omni guy, but this is interesting, nevertheless. I run all my string machine software through "Shine On" pad template and I'll see how this one holds up.

Could we have the menu line upside-down ?... to make the skeuomorphic GUI absolutely perfect.

Oh well. If it sounds good and scratches an itch I will end up buying anyway. The Polymoog emulator did that rather wellLotuzia wrote: Fri Dec 20, 2019 4:42 pmWhen I created Oxium, Ramses, or StiX for example, Xils were interested by original designs.
