$149 Upgrade Special Bundle 1 to 2 (includes Triton), $199 KLC (no Arp Odyssey) to SB2. Coupon is proof of ownership code, not an additional discount.fmr wrote: Fri Dec 27, 2019 10:51 am Is the final price $149 for all, or is it just for those that have the coupon code?
No PCG import currently.

Actually there is a discount.Coupon is proof of ownership code, not an additional discount.
If you buy them separately, they'll both cost $270.00 already discounted, $350 with no discount.
Owners of any bundle get a little less pricey product, $199.00 or $149.00.
IMHO: no re-sizable GUI for the entire bundle, no buy.

I wrote to KORG yesterday and problem solved today !Macumbaa wrote: Thu Dec 26, 2019 3:11 pm Looks like that coupon update thing on Korg shop website is messy or is it me ?
When I click on the link provided on my id.korg account and then apply coupon, it is refused and price remains at 149 $.
If I add the other "Legacy" update to my cart, coupon is said to be applied but price remains unchanged at 199 $.
Any hints and any idea on the differences between those 2 updates offered ?
Also, any idea if other plugin from the Legacy collection have been updated ?
I also wrote to KORG about an issue with Arp Odyssey that could not properly update through the new KORG SOFTWARE PASS app and would not load as a VST. Problem solved also !

Yes and no. EG I have an allergy to workstation pianos, unless they're drowned in reverb with some floaty pads in the background, and even then.. blehnoiseboyuk wrote: Fri Dec 27, 2019 10:44 amThis really is a straightforward appeal to nostalgia, isn't it? Old workstations don't really do it for me, its not like classic old synths which are still used widely today.
The Triton has a capable synth engine (the dual arps still outclass most modern things) and there's a whole bunch of included sample content to use on it here, though let's just ignore some of those vocal samples, eh? Whilst the filter works well on some things you also don't have to look hard to expose its limitations. A step back from the Trinity, in some ways, and the Legacy Collection filters (just a few years later.. ) were a large step forward.
As for the classic old synths being "widely used".. Consider the true manufactured numbers. Forum bragging might skew the reality that there's simply not enough of most of them out there to be "widely used". The closest you'd get, to mass manufactured, might've been the Junos and cheaper SH-101 etc.
I'd say the most important element they had, which was lost on workstations, is the hands on control. When you get too detached from the sound, is it really an instrument any more? Ultimately you can't argue with a good basic sound either. That said, with Behringer doing all these releases, I don't think it'll take long to start to see some push back from that direction either.. In terms of people demanding much more features, patch memory etc..

Yes, I was disappointed with that too... but the Triton was a great synth, and so, I bought it.
Now, if only they launch the Z1... THAT would be awesome.

WOW. this is amazing, buying it right now.
the best thing I loved about Korg triton was the 'st.chorus' effect, best chorus effect I ever used, I had korg Triton even to process sounds from DAW as an effect unit thru that chorus effect

I have owned the Studio 88, 2 Extremes, a Karma, and the Triton Rack. There's just something I love about the sound of this machine, so I am going to have to take the plunge. Sadly, I'm in the $199 category, but it looks like that also gets me a copy of Odyssey (which is the only other Korg synth I don't already have).
Korg Nautilus 61AT; Korg Kronos 61 (2); Roland Fantom-06; Casio PX-350M
