I saw a video recently of a producer using Cthulhu in Mulab and somehow routing the midi from Mulab into protools. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to output midi from Mulab straight into another Daw. Here is the video for reference.
Happens around the 5:05 mark where he opens up Mulab with Cthulhu loaded and then 7:55 where he records straight into protools. Thanks!

ah that makes sense. A little bit of a newbie here, i'm guessing you have to enable IAC driver in the audio midi setup, but any help on the next steps?Forgotten wrote: Mon Dec 30, 2019 3:05 am Probably by creating virtual MIDI ports in Audio MIDI Setup

Something like this:
https://dialogaudio.com/modulationproce ... _setup.php
That’s the first result Google returned, but maybe there are more detailed results with more graphics if you make a couple of searches.

Appreciate it, ya i've seen that, just not the most familiar with midi routing in Mulab. How do I route Midi from my Akai MPK to the IAC bus createed in Audio midi setup? Here is what my screenshot looks likeForgotten wrote: Mon Dec 30, 2019 3:31 am Something like this:

I did this with GarageBand: Drop Cthulhu in a rack. In MuLab Modular area connect Cthulhu midi out (blue) to an IAC Bus midi in. I setup GB with that IAC Bus as a midi in, so when I play Cthulhu I hear it thru a GB instrument. This routing info is also in the MuLab Midi Setup tool tip.
