@msvs
Thanks for the new skin and for the effort this year making avenger better
I dont have any problem with the new protection which works flawless on my new system. Disabled software and all xp's on my old system. Migrated to my new system without any problems. Just wanted to tell this after all the rants here on kvr. No problems whatsoever.
Happy new year!

Only a complete system reinstall would resolve the problem. Since the runtime was not functional any license deauthorization would not work and wiping the system during a reinstall also wiped all license containers (on a Mac these are stored in a series of database files in the Application Support folder) and with it all licenses. In case of Reason this is less of an issue since Propellerheads allows you to recover licenses on broken machines. This is a rare situation, but it does happen. Took me an entire weekend to get my system fully functional again which is probably why I am reacting very itchy when it comes to CodeMeter.rlared wrote: Sun Dec 29, 2019 11:00 pmI'm calling bullshit on this unless you can provide some sort of link to back this up.mgw38 wrote: Sun Dec 29, 2019 6:05 pm CodeMeter issues are very rare but they do happen and if they happen they can be exceptionally difficult to resolve. From what I understand CodeMeter does not maintain a central license database, so it is possible that license container corruptions can make licenses disappear into nothingness. This "it is working for me, therefore everything is ok" attitude is completely missing the point.
I had a second issue when for whatever reason a MAAT installation created a container that ended up confusing the CodeMeter runtime. That I could resolve by manually deleting the corresponding container database files from the Application Support folder. Took a bit of trial and error to find the files that caused the issue but I ended up successfully cleaning up the CodeMeter installation.
Not sure about the details of how Reason uses Codemeter, but there are a lot of different options on how a vendor implements it.
DISCLAIMER: The following is just my educated guess based on a little research, it may be incorrect!
I believe that Vengeance has chosen cloud based licenses. When the local client authorizes, it is "leased" a license which expires after 90 days (this number was chosen by Vengeance). It then must have its lease renewed after those 90 days. This is regardless of whether it's hard drive based or dongle based. I believe that the local client will reauthorize automatically as long as it's connected to the internet. So although it's potentially annoying having to reauthorize, I believe the upside is that if you fry your computer or lose your dongle, the license would appear back in your cloud account after 90 days max. Also you have 3 cloud based licenses per product.
It would be good to get confirmation if this is correct though.

The shifting of individual notes to the left or right in the ARP with the arrow buttons (beneath the preset chooser) or the arrow keys is extremely unreliable. Sometimes it work, sometimes it doesn´t. Often I have to reselect a note before it can be shifted further, even if it is already selected. Anyone else? Is there a better method of doing this? It´s funny that you can vertically shift notes up or down with the mouse, but not horizontally (that only increases or decreases the length of the note).

Does anyone have Avenger 1.5.x licenced on more than one PC?
I'm having a nightmare trying to get this on my laptop as well as my main DAW. The CodeMeter website is showing 2 licences as "not completed"
I've raised tickets with both Keilwerth Audio and Wibu:
If there's a CodeMeter SME out there willing to help troubleshoot this issue I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks,
Roger

I've raised tickets with both Keilwerth Audio and Wibu:
- Keilwerth's Rene suggested I just need to click a "Finish Activation" button on the activation page from my main PC, I can't find such a button on the activation page.
- Wibu sent me a link to my tickets status which requires a login which I don't have.

Awesome. Thank you, Stefken!Stefken wrote: Sun Dec 29, 2019 3:26 pm * For people who choose to stay with Avenger 1.4, I also included a legacy 1.4 version which has the optimisations to various knobs and buttons.
How does updating work? Will you send out an e-mail again?

I must admit I'm bothered that the communication is not working as it should.
I trusted Gumroad to just send a notification of the update, but it's giving me a hard time.
Kindly use the original mail and it will direct you to the new skins.
Then just replace the skin file as explained in the original install instructions. Thanks.

@Stefken
Hi
just thought to address this issue.
I checked all the emails I received from your side, and there is no link, the skins are always attached in the email.
Last email I got was on Sept 4 2019

Ok, since Gumroad isn't doing it's job, I have manually (re)sent the link to all.
The people who used to get it via direct e-mail (like Saif), have the update directly in their inbox now.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

@Stefken: Got your e-mails yesterday. The update for the original skin came as an attachment, for the blue and cyanide versions I was sent the respective links. Thanks a lot!

Could not tell. Worked fine on my machine but I'm only using it on 1 pc.
Are you attempting to activate it on 3 devices?
I would expect that you should run the procedure on 3 physical machines separately then? I see 3 downloads on 1 physical machine....
Not sure if this makes any sense?
Contacting support is your best move.

I got into this same mess. I finally resolved it by:
Installing Chrome on both PCs, then:
Completing the activations on my main PC
Deactivating the additional licenses
Finally activating an additional set of licenses on my laptop
To be fair to Vengeance they do advise that Edge or IE may not work. I got thrown by the error message about not being able to connect to the service
The CodeMeter messages were unintuitive all the way. What I ended up with is CMcontainers on each PC with different serials containing activated licenses and 1 additional set of available licenses.
