I not sure what you are doing there but you should not have to download containers and run them. Also you have all 3 copies of each license registered to the same CM Container for some reason. Log in with the computer you registered with first and deactivate the other 2 license copies first, then try activating a license on the second computer.

I replaced the hard drive on my computer and installed a new system. Tried to activate on the new system but didn't work.
Luckily I did not format the old hard drive so I was able to log in the old system again and deactivate from the old computer. Now I could activate on the new system without problems. So there is always a master system that controls everything?

No you should only activate one license per product on each computer. You can have 3 separate computers with Avenger authorized. Each computer gets a unique Codemeter ID. But once you authorize a license on a computer, you have to deactivate it from that same computer before you can use it elsewhere. It seems that you are selecting all 3 licenses and activating them all on the same computer, which is unnecessary. Just select one of each license when you do the authorization, uncheck the others.

This is pants. It's too easy to get into a mess with codemeter. An end user shouldn't need to know or care how it works.

Has zakufan has identified a scenario where if a disk breaks it's not possible to reactivate on a new disk?

My concern is that despite wasting time having to learn utterly pointless s**t about codemeter to get Avenger activated on two systems, the licences are only valid for 3 months. What could possibly go wrong after that? :?

So far I don't feel love for Avenger because of all this.

Log into Avenger account, press "manage activations" and then "restore licenses". Didn't try this really, but my guess is this should let the user withdraw the licenses that were assigned to the broken hdd.

Any new expansions to look forward to?

I'd like to see more trance, electro, hands up v2 :)

Was thinking about the same. Electro sounds great. I'm also hoping for Granular 2, Atmospherica 2, Granular 2, and more Retrowave.

Does anyone have a planned list of expansion releases? I've seen it somewhere before, but cannot now find it.
It's the music that makes the science worthwhile.

As I am myself very much looking forward to "Acid Breaks", it was easy to find using the search:

Manuel posted a list a little while back and these are the next in line as far as I can tell.

Funky House 2
Acid Breaks
Ibiza House
Guitar XP4

I don't understand why calling a synth Avenger. What are we, little kids? I understand you're Vengeance sound for many years (probably since Van-Damme was an action movie hero) but it's time to get serious about things. :ud:

Installed brand new for the first time last night. Following the instructions everything worked fine. Only confusing part was when I added expansion packs after the initial installation, the code meter app automatically selected an unused avenger and factory kit for the same computer. Caught it and unchecked. Otherwise straightforward. Personally would have preferred ilok, since I have majority of my copy protected licenses there. Only one straggler on Vienna Key now for me.

Looking forward to future XP’s, these new ones (guitars) are really well done.

You can only rehost licenses and not restore them. Rehosting requires that you have access to the code meter container that currently stores the licenses. If that container is fried due to broken hdd or otherwise, you cannot rehost them.

Hopefully after the 90 days you can?
