Ok guys. I don't wanna buy an Axe FX or a Kemper...I have the money..but I have MXXX
Especially if MXXX can truly create anything. I know as far as emulating components it's all about identifying the characteristics.
So as far as emulating a preamp...how would I go about that? I know I can use impulse responses for The Mics and Cabs and even the room potentially
But the preamp saturation and distortion portion, tone matching... There has got to be a way....
Help me set this up. I'd pay you for your time. I mean c'mon...MXXX has to be superior....

Unless you guys think I really do REQUIRE another Preamp loader....I mean I just figured MXXX could create the qualities of a preamp.

Axe FX and Kemper are working highly dynamic and by learning certain properties of the gear on certain inputs. MXXX cannot/will not do that.

" MXXX cannot/will not do that."...any explanation?

The creators of Kemper were guests on a audio engineering event for members and held a 2h lecture about the insides of their product, the methods of capturing the authentic sound and the way software is able to reproduce this in its limitations. This just was way beyond what MXXX (or any generic modular environment) is able to do

The value will depreciate faster than any other object on the planet and its technologically redundant the moment they press Start on the production conveyor belt.
Melda products cant do what you want but there is plenty of guitar centric software that will

So I guess the missing component would be Preamp and dynamic modules...guess I could use a Kemper as my Front end and then shape the tone further?
