Can MOscilloscope be another way to generate quick wavetables?

A couple of days ago i was playing around with MOscilloscope and suddenly i thought it could be a great tool to quickly generate wavetables if used in a special way.
Is that possible to sample the waveforms passing through the oscilloscope? If so, could we choose the "capturing frequency" (number of captures per unit of time) and the number of waveforms to be collected over time? The algorithm could then be able to group all those waveforms sequentially or randomly (handling zero crossings to avoid clipping). The final written wavetable file could be directly saved in the preset library and loaded inside MSF, modulators and so.
Is that possible? What do you guys think about this?

Sounds funny. Still one question: why don't you just render the audio passed through MOscilloscope and import it as a wavetable in MSoundFactory?
System: Win 10 64 bit / i9 9900K (8x 3.6 GHz) / 16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM / 1TB M.2 SSD + 2x 500 GB SSD / RME Babyface / Reaper

Hi Tagirijus, for sure that is the fastest way to get some wavetable data inside MSF :hihi:
But the point behind this funny brainstorming was to misuse the oscilloscope and check how this could spark new ways of using it... We never know...

I love this idea. The ability to directly drag the wavetables into your daw or into MSF would be awesome for workflow. And some quick simple editing capabilities like normalize every frame, start/end, fade at zero crossings, ect.

I love this idea as well

And another cool feature for the oscilloscope is proposed here:
