Difficult to reply cause i grow with Rush Music...

I can't describe the sadness (even for the harsh life he had in losing his wife and daughter in a short time), Canada should proclaim national mourning and make him a monument because Rush were the first Canadian rockers to break through the borders and barriers geographic and musical...

One of my all-time faves. I bought my first Rush album in '76. I think Neil had a unique perspective and approach to Drums/percussion and how they should be played in a heavy/prog rock band. La Villa Strangiato blew me away in '78, and still does.

Think I’ll play a few Rush albums over the next few days.

Sad news, but glad he’s at rest after a long period of fighting this - the results of brain cancer can be terrible for a family to witness.
