lol nice find.

Maybe we should discuss how awesome Avenger sounds, how easy it is to program, how killer the drum kits are, techniques and tips, future expansion packs, best current expansions, etc.

One thing I was wondering is how to automate the pitch of Avenger in FL studio (or maybe in any DAW). I could not figure out how to automate the pitch wheel. Any suggestions, is this possible?

So after it’s all said and done, is this thing worth it for a new owner? Sounds pretty good!

Yeah, man. Try the demo! https://www.vengeance-sound.com/plugins ... TRY%20DEMO

I'm a big fan of using it for it's drum kits, and any of the FX expansions are great for risers that can be easily manipulated. Lots of good stuff. check it out!

It's possibly the best soft synth of all time. It destroys my cpu like nothing else and some patches cause it to cut out completely with just 3 notes, but yeah, its good. Hopefully one day it'll run as good on a mac and logic, as it seems to on a pc.

Some presets, yeah. It's not a logic thing, it does it in other hosts. For example, this is what happens when I hold down 3 or 4 notes on Synthstruments -> ARP -> Dance spiccs. The audio keeps crackling and cutting out a millisecond later.

It's a pity because I do love the synth. It's worth pointing out that not all presets are this bad btw, just a few push things to this extreme.

So does it still have the same copy protection that everyone has been complaining about? I thought I heard he switched due to so many issues/complaints

Iam on a MacBook Pro 2018 and I don’t have that Problem. However avenger takes a lot cpu that’s true.

Unfortunately afaik there's no piano expansion for avenger, IMHO I think many of us would appreciate it.
I've just seen this smaller kontakt library (5gb) that emulates nord piano sounds: https://youtu.be/2VtA2XtP518
This mixes a piano sound with a synth sound plus there's somme effects on top.
Though avenger is not kontakt, a smaller piano library could be awsome...

Its a good idea for pop pianos. Nexus had the Total Piano expansion, and personally I think its a good thing to have expansions that aren't all genre-defined, but rather instrument or type defined.

Just thinking aloud, I also wonder about mood expansions rather than genre. Aggression, peace, tension, mystery etc. With better names, obvs.

AFAIK, Avenger still uses the CodeMeter protection that gave rise to the controversy. It is obviously up to you (and every individual consumer) to assess whether or not that is a problem for you personally.

Interesting, you tested that exact preset with 4 notes held down? Can I ask what your buffer's set at, which daw, what version osx, and your macbook specs?

Just an INFO post from me......
Today i received my Dongle ordered from: https://www.maat.digital/dongle/
Everything installed and activated on multiple computers without any problem. Every PC works flawless with the Dongle.
So for the first day everything is fine.

I just tested that preset on my PC with as many keys as I could push, and did not have any issues. Although it did look like it was using a bit of CPU.
