In SpectralDynamics, there are graphs for Threshold, Attack, Release and EQ... it makes sense for 'ratio' to be in there too in my opinion. Imagine an increasing ratio over the frequency spectrum, etc.

I'm interested in this stuff because you can do really mind bending stuff with graphs in MSpectralDynamics to create very unusual sounds... so anything that unlocks more potential out of it is good in my opinion. It's a massively underappreciated plugin and can do much more than just dynamics.

Thanks!

Would also love additional 'Quality' controls as it has such a huge impact on the sound. I presume quality is FFT size, so 'High' is 8196 I think... would love to see 'extreme' (16k) and 'very low' (1k). Again, this is for extreme sound mangling rather than mastering, etc. Options are always good with Melda stuff :)

+1

Well, I'll check, no promises though, I'm quite skeptical to be honest.

I want to vote! +1
Especially regarding the FFT size. Actually, I need a small fft size in the bass range, but in the trebles I need very fine distances.

Ah yeah, I've asked for variable spectral settings in the past. The analyser in melda settings had a super resolution mode that does this.

Melda said it would be difficult. However you could always do it in mxxx with a crossover. Not ideal but may help

So good and bad news - no ratio graph will happen, long story. But I'll add more quality modes.

That's better than nothing, thank you! Looking forward to seeing the effect that has!
