The global sequencer randomization (pattern generator) in DC doesn´t work properly.
No matter how often you click on randomize, there are several track events which will always stay at the same position.
This results in generating patterns that sound extremely similar.

The pattern generator randomizes EVERYTHING. This is what my post is about, not the individual track randomization.
RTFM!!!

Does it really? I am sorry. I Need to read the manual.
Have you read in the manual that different "areas" of the randomisation do different things?

for my work style i would consider this a plus, getting variations of the basic pattern, nothing totally new.
for something totally new i would restructure it myself.
i havent tested this yet myself

the global pattern randomizer generates useable patterns based on rules. its ok that patterns have hits staying the same, these might be part of a usable sequence. the individual track randomizer performs a full random. please use our support form for tech support. the forum might not be the place to expect fast answers from the company:) hugs, rico
