Aggregated sound cards problem.

I am trying to use ASIO4ALL to combine multiple USB sound cards into one 'supper' card.
But I do not seem to be able to activate them all, ASIO4ALL is showing most of them as being idle. As a result I only get a maximum of eight inputs.

I don't really know what I am doing (story of my life:-) ) so I don't know if I am doing something wrong or if Tracktion has some sort of limit on the number of cards that can be use simultaneously.
Any ideas, anyone?
