Please roll back and see where we are not offering "a bunch of IRs". I was clearly just using the trivializing/minimizing phrase others have slung in this thread to make a point.

We don't make our plugins 29.99. Sorry, you can point that level of devaluing elsewhere. We haven't reduced MODO DRUM below its intro pricing, ever, for example.

But keep using speculative (and incorrect) information to assume things. The introductory pricing will still be available upon release for you to pick up T-RackS Sunset Sound Studio Reverb to get the great sounds you can hear already in the demos and via trying it at that point.

We're not crazy, we have been doing this for 20+ years and know how to research the market. Just happens that many here are on the end of the market that expects a lot for next to nothing and that's cool. Then obviously this isn't for you. Or you can wait for a year+ to see if it hits your magic armchair price.

And we all know what a bomb MODO DRUM has been. IK must not have done the proper research on that one, eh???

Or perhaps there are out of touch developers that assume the market is stupid and therefore ask far more than what the market is currently willing to bear (see the aforementioned MODO DRUM). It's a problem with a simple solution. Release your products at a reasonable price (i.e the price that it will eventually be marked down to) at the outset and you eliminate the needless rollercoaster pricing and then IK will be able to devote more resources to new products and less on defending silly pricing schemes. It's a win - win for everyone with the exception of forum representatives....

I didn't realize you weren't copied on our sales figures. You see what you want to as a bomb, but you have literally NO idea. Thanks for the laugh, though.

Having 20+ years' experience and straight up growth every single year (including record-breaking figures at the end of 2019) is not quite "out of touch". I do look forward to seeing your CV if you're interested in trying to turn your armchair business ideas into reality. :) Though the saying isn't "dream work makes the team work" it is the opposite. You seem to have mastered the concept backwards. Don't get down about it, it happens. You'll improve over time with hard work and better information, knowledge, and research.

Keep dreaming and making up random information and you'll be a superstar!

Back to the actual topic, though... I don't believe it was mentioned here that we are looking at February for the T-RackS Sunset Sound Studio Reverb release.

We'll have more audio demos coming, too. Sorry for any short delay added, there's more going on under the hood than a handful of IRs, as mentioned, and we're doing our best to get the best possible product out to those interested. The introductory price was already stated to last through March so there will be no change necessary there.

Assuming your claim of "record breaking figures at the end of 2019" is true, (which is no small concession given some of the deusional claptrap you've spouted) this is precisely why you and you employer are out of touch. You should be far more concerned about the consumer backlash evident in more than a few posts here but you're more interested in trumpeting your sales figures from last year. You should be aware that pride comes before the fall, but your delusions of grandeur seem to be insuring it. Don't fret too long about it, you can only fool people for so long, right??

Hasn't hurt IK's bottom line yet. Or, I assume, Peter would be history, or at least his tenure here would be. Whatever. It is what it is. FWIW, I like TrackS. I use the 670 on practically everything.
My main concern would be n00bs over-paying for a product when they can't really determine if it's 'needed' or not. That's where hyperbolic advertising and trusting souls collide.

Maybe someone in authority here should grant all those noobs a license
to watch youtube videos, and download/install/use product demos,
to aid their purchasing decisions.

Surely someone has that power! :hyper:

Glad to hear you like 670! It's a great module. I've personally been trying out the Dyna Mu on tracks where I used to use the 670 and it's got a pretty great sound.

The Custom Shop does offer a trial period to allow anyone to hear T-RackS Sunset Sound Studio Reverb on their own tracks and really hear if the product is for them (After release of course). That should help anyone just starting out to see what they really need.

Here is an FAQ for anyone interested in how to do so: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/?id=798

Yes, and for those who will be doing as mentioned above, the introductory pricing on T-RackS Sunset Sound Studio Reverb will be in effect through March 31st, 2020.

I hope anybody who was at NAMM got a chance to try the pre-release version available there, people really seemed to enjoy the sound of it there (we had an enclosed room inside our main NAMM room for this purpose).

This Peter - IK Multimedia guy really has a great sense of humour. After I brought up the topic of this product basically consisting only of TWELVE STATIC IMPULSE RESPONSES over at GS and mentioned freeware alternatives, he tried to frame me as an "undercover pimp" of ... I guess one of these freeware "companies"? :dog:

EDIT: In the meantime he has contacted the admins at GS and had me banned for stating facts (I'm sure it helped that IKM is spending a lot of money on ads on these forums), not to mention that he is now trying to get me kicked off KVR too as he promised me via PM.

Bullying is quite a coherent way of representing the public image of a company that thinks that selling TWELVE STATIC IMPULSE RESPONSES for 150 bucks should be cheered as a great offering. Glad I never invested anything in IKM products, now that I have to witness their business ethics first hand!

I'm no spring chicken, but I feel like I've stepped into a room full of old men with nothing better to do with their time. Jesus Christ...

Someone (edit - who has now taken to harassing me directly via PM, classy) lacks reading comprehension and also doesn't realize their incorrect accusatory mumblings got a "cleanup on aisle 6" over there. Fun times.

Speaking of spring chickens, the spring reverb in [url=https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/t ... unsetsound] is quite good too, I will ask about more audio demos of that too.

My impulse was to write a response about a chicken on a plate, but I'm all out of dad jokes for the week...hahaha.

Now you're just making me hungry. And even though it is always good to release a product at the right time for it to be the best it can be, I am hungry for this release too. There, I tied it in and didn't make a dad joke either. Have a great night and weekend and I hope you might enjoy the plates (sans chicken) in this upcoming release.

I'm old enough to remember when the mods around here would try to help devs who were getting piled on.

Also, I remember when devs knew that they should stop feeding the trolls.

It's a all gone a bit Twitter.
