hey all. im trying to use t7 coming from t3 and t7 seems super sluggish in scrolling and moving files around. is this normal? decent pc for audio. my cpu, ram, gpu all are very low usage with the program open. i have an m.2 as main drive. even exporting tracks is so damn slow.

T7 will be probably be phased out and not be supported going forward. Please wait for Waveform 11 free.

Can you be more specific as to "decent?"flhctroll wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2020 10:27 pm hey all. im trying to use t7 coming from t3 and t7 seems super sluggish in scrolling and moving files around. is this normal? decent pc for audio. my cpu, ram, gpu all are very low usage with the program open. i have an m.2 as main drive. even exporting tracks is so damn slow.
I had T7 on PCs with an i3, and i5 systems, and I wouldn't call it slow- I only had 4-8 gigs of ram, so that may have impacted things a bit, but I can't say it was "sluggish."
You have background processes running in the background? Ctrl+Alt+Del>Task Manager, and end task on anything sucking up resources can help.
Depending on what you're doing within T7, you can use a "freeze point" from the plugin menu, to freeze a track, which frees up resources.
Plugins can be resource intensive, so it depends on what you're doing, and what your system specs can handle. I now have an i7 cpu with 16 gigs of ram, and I sometimes have to freeze a track, to free up resources. There's lots of variables.
