Using Hive's quantizer keys, arp and sequencer together I've made some really nice and complex melodies.

It would great if I could export those as MIDI to my DAW some how. I haven't tried this but is it possible to route Hive to another midi track and record midi?

If not, consider some kind of midi export function as a feature request. :)

The Sequencer/Arp will sooner or later get some sort of MIDI out/export. The Quantizer is excessively more difficult to get there, I can't see this happening yet.

Woo! I just discovered that ANA 2 has this, and it’s amazing

I got around this by setting the Hive osc to a simple sine and then recording and converting the audio to midi in my DAW.

It requires some cleaning up, and I found certain note ranges get skipped in FL so I had to add some stuff back in.
But you can use a Spectrogram like Wave Candy to compare the sound from Hive with the piano roll midi.

It's far from zero effort, but it's a workaround you can do now!

+1 for the MIDI output port! I'd expect in the case of the Sequencer/Arp, that the MIDI port would output events like the sequencer is sending to HIVE internally, so that if MIDI data was saved and sent back into HIVE with the sequencer/arp turned off, then HIVE would produce the same sound as if the sequencer was on, right?
